What are you talking about? This isn't a replacement for bc and you don't need a ps4 to use it. Some people want this to play games they never bought. No one is stopping anyone from buying a ps3.
But games costs different than movies and streaming games requires different technology. At this price it is cheaper than netflix. It might not be right for you. Netflix isn't worth it to me.
You could say the same for netflix, if you own everything they have than its pointless but thats obvious and doesn't affect the price. I don't think the majority bought hundreds of ps3 games.

I haven't had any of those problems and if you get far enough from a companion the just appear near you. If you a losing them you should check you other settlements, they are around somewhere.
I haven't seen one game breaking bug and am having a lot a fun with the game. Just because you read a lot about bugs, doesn't mean everyone is seeing a lot of bugs. The witcher is probably my goty still but blooborne and fallout are very close.
