I disagree with going rouge being risk reward. I would exract any loot i had, then any person i found that i thought I could kill or felt like killing, I would. You just walk off to any area, since the map is mostly empty, and you get the reward. If they kill you, who cares. You might lose a bit, but its way more reward. Getting to level 10 in the beta only seemed possible by going around killing fools. Overall, the whole rouge system is poorly done and arcady. The gunplay is terrible for pvp...
Lol more refined gamers wouldn't need fell smart by playing this no skill game. Can the ai get any dumber? Come meet my team on r6, bro.
Why would you have to plan anything in this game? They are just bullet sponges with terrible ai.
I found the enemies to dumb and easy. Just walk up and punch them or wait behind cover until the idiots walk up to you one at a time and blind fire.
This game doesn't require any brain use. Its a stats based combat game. Hiding isn't exactly a puzzle.
After you do it once it isn't tense at all. Avoid the big group, and only walk over to the extraction at the last second.
I agree that the game would have been better if the whole thing was dz like they originally planned. With less player density and more rewards for working together and more penalties for attacking and getting killed. Right now there is no reason to to kill people and the best rewards are if you do. If the ehole game was built around the mmo they say it is, but isn't, it would have been a game worth playing. To bad this game is not the game they said it was and should not have the tom clan...
Thats just terribly boring and repetitive.
The dark zone isn't very good because the game isn't. There is no real point to it except for people to troll people. Thats fun for one night maybe. The gameplay isn't good enough for real pvp. Almost all the skill and control is taken out because they want it to be mostly rpg, and stat based fights are pointless. There really isn't that stressful situation where you wonder if some random person is friend or foe because they are only rewarded for killing you and there are no r...
You don't buy a game because it has good servers. 99% of games have good matchmaking, especially when everyone is the same level. I found the gameplay of the division to be poor so im not interested. A lot of you let dev speak fool you to easily. They will always say everything you liked about the beta will be there and everything you didn't like will be better in the full game.
While i get what the author is saying, it just isn't necessarily true. The division is not going to change much in a month. Yes if your complaint is that this one area doesn't have enough enemies in one area, or a specific bug, then yes those can be patched. What the beta does show is the gameplay and the basics of pve and the dark zone. They are not going to improve the gunplay and mechanics in a month so I can absolutely say I do not like the game. My mind will not change once they...
The destiny beta was just the first part of the game. It was a pretty good example of the game to me.
You are changing the argument. The division maxed out on pc doesnt even look like the original video. You are lying to yourself.
just because the camera perspective is different doesnt mean they arent trying to copy destiny. I was obviously referring to the damage and ai model. Honestly, destinys gun play was miles ahead of the division. If it was actually like a tom clancy game then it wouldn't have been, but its true. Destiny had tighter controls and the guns felt different from each other. There was more skill and control involved in destiny. But sure, as you pointed out, it does load screens better than destiny...
@oschino what are you talking about? he expressed his opinion. Are you actually under the impression they are going to change the game before march?
Have you been paying attention to any one thing the devs said?
My thoughts exactly. I also feel very let down about the dark zone. Instead of an mmo with a chance that you would run into another player and they could be friendly/hostile, we got some tiny arena mode with an arcady "rouge" system that could easily be broken or exploited.
It also isn't a tactical tom clancy shooter. It is just a worse destiny with out good movement, but added a cover system. Destiny did the gun play much better so why try to copy that. The enemy ai is...
You clearly don't know much about destiny. The graphics weren't very good, it was one of the best shooters, and destiny also had match making. The dark zones being full of people doesn't make the game tactical. Thats just silly. Its a bullet sponge rpg number based game. The ai is terribly stupid. You just wait in cover then when one gets close you unload on it. It is not tactical just because they put in a cover system that is made pointless by underwhelming gunplay. If you think...
He shared many of the concerns i had as well. Then gun play isn't good and the ai was awful. You could just wait behind cover for one enemy to walk over at a time. I didn't really like the answers given for end game and story length.
He said he doesn't like it and i agree with him. Why do some of you need to defend everything in this game. There are other ways to handle rpg and still make gameplay fun and skill based. The witcher and dark souls actually made sense and had combat that was challenging. The bullet sponge crap in the division just feels stupid and boring. It is not an mmo. All weapons felt basically the same and the enemies, which don't even make sense, couldn't have worse ai. So a virus is plante...
