There are a lot more Dreamcast games I'd rather see there, but my fear is that if I don't support this port, future games might be shelved. That said, it was a magical time for gaming for me back then. After an overdose of gaming that culminated in the guilting of my blue collar parents to get me a 3DO I burned out. I got a girlfriend, and eventually her parents got me a PS. And I was back in it again, waiting for 9-9-99. It was a sad day when I finally made the decision to trade her ...
"However, given the very limited mental capacity of most 360 gamers plus the proverbial blindfold of stupidity given to them by Microsoft, the 360 sheep guided by diabolical Gamestop employees"
Is this really neccessary?
I'd like to add to your give you, what you want comment. Perhaps MS gives their customers what they want. Don't see the need to belittle the other guy. I suggest other people try it...or maybe not, it'd be a pretty boring site if we didn't have people so ravenously passionate that they never stop looking for new videogame news, or coming up with crazy rationale why company a is so much better than company b. Thanks for the entertainment folks.
Don't worry I don't think anyone would defend your opinions.
I guess I did. I responded without insulting anyone, and I gave my reasons for my preference. I'm not xbot hurray!
Is it that hard for people to realize that people have different opinions?
I'm sure MS would rather we all quit xbox and game on PC's.
Perhaps these morons that pay full retail price for stuff are people that put more thought into how they treat others rather than bargain shopping?
Am I considered an xbot because I don't mind paying for the convenience and the sense of community?
The poor author, have to follow his blind friends and pay less than a dollar more a month. And why? How about inflation or an expansion of the services originally offered?
We got you. You cancelled it. And I think everyone should do the same that isn't satisfied with it. And I think you should voice your displeasure over the decision. And this isn't directed at you, but to the people insulting others for not caring aim your hostility at the appropriate place.
when there isn't enough people playing a game you prefer. Games are so subjective, if I went by metacritic or amount of people buying/playing a game I wouldn't have played half of the games I've enjoyed.
$60 a year. Or a little over a little over a dollar a week. To play with your friends...with a controller you prefer. Why do I have to defend my decision to own a 360? Why am I insulted on a regular basis because of it. The definition of a fanboy is insulting someone because of the system they prefer. There got that off my chest. Now onto another thread to read more entertaining system bashing comments.
Paying the cost of inflation, or even a bit more, is not a problem for me. We're not talking about large sums of money here.
Are these the same people who gave Gears of War 2 a 0 on metacritic?
Halo 3 did come out this month last year, and I imagine there were a lot of people waiting until then to buy it.
I guess this is what you get for enthusiast press when your hobby is still aimed at children. I thought the average gamer was nearly thirty now? Why is the industry coverage still writing for twelve year olds?
Everything on this sh1tty "blog as news" site turns into a fanboy b1tchfest.
"full-fledged titles like Gran Turismo" Delusional brand loyalty strikes again.
So how many of these articles need to be posted before everyone realizes they're just for traffic? And how many non-live members need to get their panties in a bunch and refer to those who don't mind paying what amounts to less than seventeen cents per day? I find value in the service. It's my money. There are a lot better causes to worry about. I'm sorry some fanboys said a ps3 wasn't worth it when it launched, they were wrong. Gaming is probably one of the cheapest forms...
