yeah, i kinda agree with you on that but not in a direct sense. I have both systems and to be honest barring great visuals on both systems ive been pretty disappointed with this gen.
Maybe i just been a gamer to long, but i get real bored with most of the games nowadays i always feel like ive been there done that and worn the T-Shirt.
Same copied ideas over and over again barr a few innovations, enough with who's got the most power give me game play for a change.

One day both camps may realize that these machines, barring drive spec, are pretty much the same.

DLC will be popular when the line speeds are up to it, but i prefer my films in a nice case as part of nice collection. DVD will be phased out like VHS and Blu-Ray at present is its only successor, however i don't think DVD will die as quick as VHS did given the not so noticeable difference in quality.
MS will have a Blu-Ray drive in there next console and i don't give a pigs ...
I gotta agree with ya on most of that rice, the more i hear and see about Too Human the more i see it being an average 3rd person hack'n'slash/shooter with some bells and whistles on to make it look more interesting and fun because the story's crap.
Fable was a big BIG let down for me, like you said, boring, repetitive.
Looking forward to GOW2, dig the cover moves on that game , in fact i think its the best cover movement represented in a game yet.
I didn't bother with the PS3 demo, but i was pretty happy with the 360 demo. I don't remember any frame rate drops or screen tearing? However i played mostly online. So its 360 version for me as all my mates are on Live and i was happy with the way the game looked and performed on 360, Im a "billy no mates" on PSN :( sniff.
I think the Mass Effect universe, if done properly, has the potential to become something of a cult, along the lines of FF, Halo, zelda a system seller, worth keeping a hold on. Bioshock is more like a good shooter but its not a system seller IMHO.
I agree, whether or not they will keep it exclusive is yet to be seen. Loved Mass Effect, one of the better next gen titles i have played to be honest.
I personally think it would be a shame if it was exclusive to 360 from a gamers point of view. PS3 owners would miss out, but if it went multi, surely they would have to make the first one for PS3 to? Unless it would be like the FF universe? But then it wouldn't continue the story from the first.
I haven't noticed anyone mention the fact that the PS3 has Blu-Ray, and that sales ramped up after the price drop and upcoming death of HD-DVD was revealed. Hell i even bought one when Warner announced there plans (id just bought a 37" HD TV so naturally wanted a HD Video format to use)
Factors to account me thinks. However, it is yet to be seen how the attach rate will go concerning games per console. I have 23 for my 360 and 1 (GT5P) for my PS3. Mind you the misses mostly ...
I havent noticed an option to turn abs of on GT5:P, as for copying? I dont think any racing game copys another, given they may improve or not as sometimes is the case, but copy? Nah, that would be like saying Forza copied from GT3 (i say GT3 because i didnt rate GT4, not that it wasnt good, but GT3 was a big jump from GT2 where as GT4 was nothing new just more of the same), which it didnt, but it did improve on the genre.

I still think the first one looks pretty damn good, the second one is shaping up nicely, the 360 is just as good as the PS3, no denying.
