There aren't any laws (that I'm aware of, like with movies) saying a 4 year old can't buy a M rated game. The rating are just a FYI, they don't actually impose any restrictions, so whats the big deal? Please correct me if I'm wrong about the law thing. Couldn't agree more. My vote is that this is another over estimation of technological advancement, and an over estamate of how willing people are to adopt new technology.

I bought myself a PS3 last week. Frankly I expected to have the price cut leaked by a reliable source this week, and then have the price cut next week. This is just my luck. ;)

The FIRST screen I look at is the top/first AC4 screen. You'll notice the 360 version has about 2 colums of black pixels on the left side, and then cleanly cuts to the real image, the PS3 version has a similar thing, although it slowly fades or blurs into the real picture....

Was it strained for the first 54 weeks? How long was it strained? All I know is the sales look about the same for the first 54 weeks, and if it was strained for the first 7 months (or whatever) why then is there not a sudden spike when it was no longer strained? Unless you suggest that it was strained until 54 weeks, that would make sense.

Probably because we continue to hear people say that the sales so far are cumulatively low. When one mentions cumulative sales, we respond with cumulative sales; which is, of course, different from week-by-week sales.
Maybe if Sony cut production and support of the PS2 the PS3 would have sold better.
For the first 7 months they nearly match each other in sales. Lets look at those 7 months.
Xbox 360's first 7 months - Only next gen system. Receives competition from the PS2, and a little from the XBox which is no longer in production.
PS3's first 7 months - Directly competing with the revolutionary Wii, as well as the already well established XBox 360, as well...

It can't detect the SPEED; you yourself called it an ACCELERometer. Think about it, I can be bumping along at 40 mph down the road, close my eyes and have no idea how fast were going. I can achive the same affect going 120 mph, the only indication of speed would be sound, and what you feel in the bumps in the road. You can feel acceleration, but you can't feel speed. (Were all moving through space VERY quickly, but we have no notion of that.)

Yeah, if you want the game, buy it. I would support mod'ing, but I don't support stealing games; or rather consistantly using/playing them without having bought it yourself. The only things I've ever been willing to digitally "steal" is music, and I don't do that anymore; I prefer the alternate choice when it comes to music, which is don't buy, and don't listen.
