would love to see Naughty Dog bringing out a 360 exclusive with a custom engine which takes advantage of the 360 GPU, which is better then the one in the PS3.
Lets not forget it's the developers who make the games look great.
I haven't seen a better graphical console split screen graphics then Gears 2, and that's on a middleware game engine.
Developers have the power, it's up to them if they use it.

did say the game looked good. But this game is supposed to be using all the cores on the Cell. I was expecting to be blown away, instead it looked good. The enemies didn't look very impressive. They looked ok, but not great.
I haven't played the game all the way through, so I may have to wait to be blown away, I am looking forward to the train section.

But you have to remember that the 360 has 2 pipelines per core, so 6 in total. Developers can use hyper processing. It's not like having six cores, more like 5.
Both processors work in a different way.
The Cell processor is more powerful, but that is only part of the power in each console.
I think it is great that both consoles are competing so well.

How much more powerful do you really think the PS3 is compared to the 360???
The main advantage is the Cell, but the GPU on the 360 makes up for some of that because it is more powerful than the PS3 GPU, and the 360 Architecture easier to use.

The 360 can keep up with the PS3. The PS3 is a little bit more powerful, but it's architecture does not help it, and the GPU on the 360 is better. But the Cell is better than the CPU in the 360, and the 360 has 10 meg more RAM on the GPU.
Blu Ray is good for gaming, but multi discs have never bothered me. But not having to decompre...

But for me Forza plays better. As was the case when Forza 2 went up against GT5P.

love the demo. The games plays better than GT5P. The backgrounds look better too and the cars handle better.
The only thing I can find when I compared the 2 games on my 2 40" TV's, is GT has less jaggies on the cars and slightly smoother reflections because of the jaggies then Forza 3. But Forza still looks great and plays like a dream, the cars handle more realistically, and for myself the gameplay is what will keep me coming back.

If this review had given Uncharted 2 a 9 or maybe a 10,we would all be singing the praises of the site.
There was a lot of good points in the review, but the game doesn't appear to have moved forward enough in the gameplay elements. Which is fine by me.
A review is just a opinion, that's all, and an 8 is a good score which I am sure will not stop any of you from purchasing the game.
out stating the obvious, the damage looks surprisingly like the damage on Forza 3, which had a story saying the damage was outdated. Which I don't agree with.
I think both racers look great and I will be getting both.

It's been leading the PS3 all of it's life and the only place people think the 360 is dying is on this site.
I think the 360 needs another price cut to combat the PS3 Slim. It has to stay competative.
This site is great for gaming news, it's a shame 90% of the other stuff is opinionated misinformed views, that bring a bad level of negative gaming news.

depends on what you want from your gaming machine.
For FPS, go for the 360 as the controller is the best this gen and really is the better option for FPS.
If you want a gaming machine as well as blu ray, then the PS3 is the only option.
The PS3 and 360 both have good exclusive, it depends on which ones you want to play the most.
For light family entertainment go for the WII.
playing the demo and owning GT5P, I can confirm Forza 3 plays better then GT5P, and that's all that matters.
And it looks brilliant as well.

So to confirm, the game looked good, it just hasn't blown me away yet. Maybe that is down to myself watching to many vids of the game and spoiling the surprise which could blow you away.
