Next console has to be the Scorpio, I already own a PS4 and it will soon have HDR, not enough of a jump in power to purchase Sonys next machine.
Gamers will jump to the more powerful machine, it's the reason the PS4 sold so well when it had no good games for it at the start.
Now all we need to see is MS release the Scorpio at $399
Halo 5 is, IMPO the best FPS on next gen, I can't think of much else out there that does what it does, great game

MS has at least 3 potentally great platform exclusives,
I had a Nea Geo, the games were £150 each and as big as a SNES lol magician Lord was my favourite and shouldn't forget King of Monsters, crazy wrestling game, good times.
Street fighter 2 was considered arcade perfect at the time on the SNES and Mortal combat, you had Final fight as well just to name a few, there wasn't much missing from them.
The best console for me, RPG heaven and so many arcade perfect conversions. A great time for gamers.
I still have all the games, never to be sold.

Thank you all the replays and i respect everyone's opinion but I stand by my comment. I believe consoles are more user friendly and developers will get more out of a £299 console then they would out of a £299 PC because it's a fixed platform and tbh who wants to play PC games on the low settings, it kind of defeats the purpose of gaming on a PC.
gaming without consoles would be dull, I don't enjoy the setup of PC gaming and it's expensive, I like fixed platforms that are stable. Consoles are here for good.
900p is fine with more detailed graphics and smoother frame rate

I say it because the Xbox one can't compete on raw power, they can't do much with the foundations already in place, but it needs to compete with things the PS4 doesn't have, such as 4K playback and good exclusives.
The PS4 doesn't really have all the must have games, for me it has only one system seller, Uncharted4, the rest are nice to have, you have bloodborn and Rachet and maybe until dawn but there's nothing standing out. That's why I said it doe...

Ball dropped with those specs. Sony should have just waited to release a PS5 with backwards capabilities in 2-3 years.
It's crazy, they were winning easy with the current model, now they are releasing a weaker console and the Scorpio will have the power to last longer in the Gen.
