You can put a PC game with max everything and even on the best rig you might get 1 fps (think avatar rending!)

Yeah this is a wakeup call. Power means nothing because there is always something better than that 3 months later... Games sell systems and not graphics, but looking good aint that bad.

You will only notice latency if you have something to compare it to.

at what complaining has done? Nothing but have developers talk smack. Can you imagine going into a store and the manager starts to talk smack because what you bought did not work? Yeah, gamers take punishment with a smile.

you could dump an entire game and run it off the ram.
loading should be a thing of the past.
(Still gotta PC style install).

be delighted how much faster and more flexible the
new engine will be.
(this is speculation.)
They most likely will start on consoles to sell
the engine and then blast the settings up a notch
on the PC later on.
This is because people are being paid off to delay the review for as long as possible.
