Japanese do not care about the ps4 too much,they have overload as far as games they can play.
when the companies start jumping ship to ps4 then they will start to sell it.
(Japanese are less prone to the impulse buy like the rest of us.)

Far from a tough audience. They know what they like and expect said quality (which is sometimes totally different from other countries.) sad to say about other audiences who tend to follow gaming trends more than personal preference.

Nintendo generally makes profits. As far as a race is concerned they stopped advancing hardware and have totally given up as far as the world is concerned.

They are not waiting. I think they do not care at this point. Why own a system with no games? look at what qualifies as a game in Japan (top sales over the years.) you see there is little or nothing ready for the Japanese gamer. (its already coming out for the ps3/wii u/vita/3ds)
