My goodness! This game is going to be crazy!!
There is no longer any "Secret sauce" or "mystery powers" we know whats under the hood and what it can do. Maxing something out is as simple as putting your foot on the petal in programming terms. This has nothing to do with skill at tweaking the PS4 later down the line on the software level to get more power out of it.

Console gaming, hell PC gaming is cheaper in the long run.
Smart phones need to be upgraded every 1yr and a half to stay relevant. They break easily,loaded with more DRM than you can imagine and no physical controls...
Its not about breaking a bank but fairness.
In business both the buyer and seller needs to feel they got the better end of the deal.

If you feel that the game is worth even $100 and you think you got the better end of a deal that is good for you.

As a separate game I would give this a score of 4/5 as well but "Lightning returns" is the end of a trilogy and should follow similar gameplay as such.
The whole "Against the clock" deal is 100% against what Final fantasy was about. Using all of the past Final fantasy games as past practice this is a travesty that is called "lightning returns"

I want to be on a roller-coaster from start to finish.
The Last of Us was so good I could not put the controller down until the end. why can't other games be like that (or close...) The focus on graphics and less on story. Any story can reach this level of quality if they only think about it first.

Those were GREAT games! The issue was not with the IP but the story and its direction. pretty much a hot mess until the end. It seemed as if they wanted to try something but were not sure about how to do it.
People expecting the Japanese to jump on board like the rest of the world forget that their tastes and needs are different. They need portability because many have long commute times to work/school. They are more likely to eat in the kitchen, live longer, have less crime, are not packing heat. the list goes on and on.

It felt so anticlimactic! Yes, its beautiful but once you get past the beauty you need substance.

I honestly care little for indie games as they could just as easily be put on most last gen consoles as well as PC.
My problem is with the Japanese companies. Are they seriously going to keep making games for PS3?
