The current gen systems do an admirable job, but it's the little details I notice.
The core gameplay is the same, but I think the new consoles will really shine in terms of small things like realistic looking cloth and increased density in the foliage, birds, etc.

Well, generally speaking, the PC is never in the equation when it comes to these things anyway. The PS4 and X1 are in direct competition for obvious reasons, the PC is a dynamic platform that is not locked down like the PS4.
It baffles me why PC only guys have to come in and tout their platform. It's a given that it would be more flexible.

But the fact that you are in here arguing for the merits of a lower resolution signifies that it isn't "good enough for you."
If you were indeed "cool" with the X1's lower resolution, you wouldn't be on N4G trying to convince people of anything.

I can't wait until November 14th, the PS4 release eve, when Sony drops a few casual announcements and teasers.
I say, chill and be patient, Sony is coasting at this point, exclusives are where they live. They'll release the system, then we will see that The Order 1886 was just the intro, mark my words.
They should make stickers and put it on the box saying "1080p/60fps, only on the PS4". It's a factual statement and one that might sway consumers.
MS hasn't shied away from touting things like timed DLC, I don't see why Sony wouldn't go for the jugular and tout something that will always be true for Ghost, that the PS4 is superior visually to the X1.
Why Sony would shy away from this is really baffling. After all, it is business.
My coworker and I were just talking about this yesterday. I told him, "Take it easy man, things will be added." Sure enough, here we are. NICE.
And this is just the beginning, should be interesting to see what sort of refinements are made as the system matures.

I have never played Hockey, nor do I watch it.
But unless I'm missing something, being bigger than the NHL doesn't really seem to be a huge feat when compared to other professional sports in the US. Now, if he had said bigger than the NBA, NFL or MLB, then we would be talking.
Perhaps I'm missing something.

You may be mad at his delivery, but he did bring up a very valid point. Regardless of what you think, the game seems mighty open compared to other similar games this time around, and it seems like the "fog" or haze is something that would naturally occur. I live in LA, and the smog here is all sorts of thick.

This must be some strange art project put on by MS. It's the only way to make sense out of all this statement and reversal thing their top people have been engaging in.
I would say they need to get their act together, but I think they are just too far gone.
