Seems like a decent Battleship clone with some good graphics. Not bad for a buck!
My, how time flies! And just think, soon you'll be able to play on your iTablet...
Surprised there weren't any puns about "boggling" - I've come to expect this from the site.
At least it's one of the originals, not some hackneyed new idea. Respect yo' elders!
Not quite the same Cinemax, eh?
Risk on a volcano? That sounds AWESOME.
GamesAreEvil has the power to be a podcasting force.
Looks pretty cool. Might have to consider picking this one up.
The game has Philosoraptor. Of COURSE it's Release of the Week, duh...
If everything I've been hearing is true about this game, this definitely deserves any 'Release of the Week' honors. And hopefully it deserves more accolades as time goes on.
And therein lies the problem with just raw addition and services like Metacritic - not every game can be weighted equally, I think.
I'm with CrAppleton. Also, I think the 360's software and user experience is far superior - it works better as a gaming machine. The PS3's not bad, it's just that I think a lot of gamers will have trouble justifying both.
You know, this is maybe the iPhone's big weakness - the virtual d-pad/joystick controls are so variable based on users' experience as to whether they're any good or not. I've had games that I thought controlled like ass when people loved them. This is where an optional controller accessory would really help.
Given that it's all touchscreen-based...not long, I'd imagine
Oh man, so wish I was there! And I need to make sure I get my rooster hat tomorrow!
It would be cool if they charted rhythm guitar parts, at least.
Oh, there are some absolute gems in there, but there are a lot of clunkers. And a lot of songs where they chart weird instruments on guitar, too...
Loved the line about the stars: "In GH5, completing specific instrument or band challenges nets you extra stars. So many, in fact, that it would put Super Mario to shame."
GH5 coulda been a contender, but the setlist needs to be better. Then again, ever since GH:WT, there's been a lot of weird songs on there. I would hope that the Band Hero split would cause GH to return to the rock/metal roots the first Guitar Hero games had, rather than trying to aim for satisfying e...
Not a big fan of sim racers, but damn does it look pretty.
I'm with the reviewer here - love the graphic style, that kind of art deco/steampunk look that Bioshock also had. Seems like an interesting game.
