Actually Developer versions are basically real versions just slightly bigger and lower res. But games will work on developer versions and the official retail version.

Exactly it's not free. It's renting. It's good if you just want to play the game, but it's not the same of owning or at least owning the license of the game. DRM Free on the PC is the best value.
Competition makes all consoles better. Reason I can't wait for the Steam Machines which will expand PC games to a larger audience. Hopefully force Ninty, Sony and Micro to lower their digital prices (not just gives bad/old/small games away).
Kinect doesn't need to be connected. Cameras on Android and IOS Phones can't be turned off so really don't see how you jump to that conclusion. The Kinect was always just competition for the Wii (Kinect Sports Rivals is ok, still wish it had traditional controls).
I don't trust anyone but I can just disconnect kinect and xbox one still works so don't know why they bother spying on people if it's not mandatory. Phones have cameras and mics mandatory AND there is no option to turn them off. Xbox One gives you much more control over it than Android and especially IOS. Anyone with an Iphone might as well hold a sign saying "Fuck Me".

I don't hate the PS4, at the end of the day comes to the games. Personally Microsoft has more games I care about. Only Sony game I ever cared about was Jak and Daxter (Uncharter is ok, but I don't care much about it). When Naughty Dog makes Jak 4 for PS4 I will get it, till than It's Wii u and Xbox One for me. I have a PS3 for HD versions of Jak and Daxter, Jak 2, and Jak 3 lol
Honestly don't be surprised if it happens when Chrome is released for Windows 8 (it's up to google). From what I understand it's not that hard to port from Windows 8 to Xbox One and I don't think Microsoft would just block Chrome to get people to use IE. I think it's more likely firefox will be released though.
