Ben Kuchera wrote this article and its means shit because he's a piece of shit.
Why bother with it when Destiny 2 will likely be released later this year? A company doesn't spend 500 million unless it's gonna release a sequel every year.
Tecmo Super Bowl. No other game has come close.
PS4 released at a cheaper price = FACT
PS4 is more powerful = FACT
Microsoft tried to screw over gaming by eliminating used games = FACT
You can't argue with the facts boys and girls!!!
2 more awesome RPG's for Vita I recommend are Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky and Tales of Hearts R. Freedom Wars is decent as well (not really an RPG though)
Ys 7 and Ys memories of celceta are 2 of the best RPG around. I love the battle system - so fluid. I cannot wait for Ys on PS4!!!
I would totally play FFIV if there was no monthly subscription. Seems like a great game.
The Jak & Daxter port and Borderlands 2 Vita ports were horrible 15-20 FPS and should have never been released. The fact that they included BL2 with the system bundle was a joke. On a side note, I am playing Freedom Wars and loving it.
Gamer club unlocked is the best thing to happen in gaming in the last few years. I hope Best Buy beats everyone else in new game sales and maybe publishers will reduce the cost of new games. I personally think its crazy to pay 60 for a new game and I RARELY do. You can find a new game used within a week or less at Gamestop. I got COD Adv Warfare used on the day it was released (when they released the pre-order a day early - no joke). With the CAG birthday coupon, you can get a '"ne...
Slow news week, huh?
Velocity 2x was one of the most underappriciated games of all time. I was hooked playing this game on my Vita. Game design was stellar so I am sure his next idea will be great.
There is hard and there is frustrating. Unfortunately, Bloodborne and the Souls series are just plain frustrating. I don't mind difficulty, but no one should have to repeat a large section of a game after they die. That is when a game gets tedious. Make the checkpoints frequent and save the damage you deal to the boss after you die so its not frustrating when you face the boss again. What is the point of playing a game if you cannot experience it because of poor game design???
New COD? Thanks for the news, Captain Obvious.
I think there should be an easy mode. The developers are excluding a large group of gamers who want to play Bloodborne and, as a result, are losing a huge amount of money. Myself and 2 of my buddies are not buying the game because of the difficulty. You can go ahead and call us noobs but at the end of the day, From software lost $180.00.
Shame on him. He has a job most of us would do anything to do. Does a CEO of a company like, for example, Doritos say "I hate chips! I'm not gonna eat them for a while. Oh, but I might go back to them". It's just something you don't do. If he feels that way, he should just quit. Guess what Ben, we don't give a crap if you don't like games or even have time for them. Do you want people to feel sorry for you? What was he trying to achieve with this dumb article?...
This game does for baseball what Tecmo Super Bowl did for football. It's that good. If this game can get the MLB license, it will be a MEGA hit (pun intended). Great local 2 player co-op as well.
Resolution has not been that important since Myst. It's all about the framerate. Give me one example of a game that benefitted from higher rez/lower framerate. I can give you 20 examples of games that were better due to higher framerates. Try playing that piece of garbage Borderlands 2 on Vita - basically runs at 10-15 FPS during any moments where shooting was involved which is most of the time (and I am a Borderlands super-fanatic). I guarantee if a company released a game at 720p w...
Shadow of Mordor > Alien isolation > The Evil Within - Funny because all 3 are stealth games. I have played all 3. Honorable mention goes out to Styx (another stealth game that is much, much better than it has any right to be). SOM is great because it combines stealth with action perfectly - very deep game. Alien is good because it truly has scared the crap out of me numerous times and is very tense (Alien is very much about sneaking around about 90% of the time). The Evil Within is ...
I was playing this on my Vita 6 months ago. Why is this news?
I buy games at launch, but only from one retailer - Best Buy. Gamers Club Unlocked was a genius idea where all launch games are 47.99. You also get a $10.00 certificate when pre-ordering games so in essence, new games only cost me 37.99. Why would you buy launch games anywhere else???
