Very good read. A agree completely I'll play almost anything regardless of a what a reviewer says. If I really want to play it at the very least I rent it. I think to many people get all caught up in reviews and just can't seem to want and try them for themselves.
True I wish we new more about some of these titles, but games like Killzone 2, LBP, Alan Wake and Too Human have gotten killed for pushing back release dates or setting release dates so far out people get p!ssy. I had a lot of fun in the beta. Cannot wait for MGS4 and MGO to be released I won't be seeing much sunligt this summer.
I think a lot of people probably saw this coming. It doesn't make sense to have three shooters released all together. And I believe Resistance 2 and MS:Pacific Rift are probably bigger titles for the holidays. Since the previous versions sold so well and were great games also. And just like Burnout Paradise and Devil May Cry 4 last year it will give me something to play during the slow time of the year in Feb.
This game is getting crushed. Well I never thought it was going to be the greatest FPS around, but I also thought it would get some favorable reviews. Since Free Radical was working it I guess I just expected more. I'm still going to rent it to at least try it out.
After the MGO beta issues you would think Konami would git there stuff together.

Well 360 owners may have played it last year, but you know what I didn't so I could give 2 sh!ts what u played. This is new to me. I know in general what they game is about, but I never read how it ended or anything like that because I always planned on playing it some day. So you can go on about how you played this last year. But for us PS3 owners that never played this it is brand new and there may actually be some PS2 owners out there that are waiting for some good games to come to the PS3...

I agree that a lot of PS3 fanboys did put this game down. But in the same regard there are quite a few PS3 exclusives that 360 fanboys put down that I am sure if were on the xbox they would be purchasing day one. But I am one PS3 owner that can't wait to play this game. This and Gears where one of the reasons I was thinking of getting a 360. This is great news and if this rumor does come true I will be purchasing day 1.
I know that the Wii is the leader in console sales in probably will win this generation, but it is only a matter of time till some of these developers that are optioning for the cheaper console to develop for with the biggest install base realize that there games do not sell on the Wii. Yes and no. While I do agree that a lower price would sell more units. In all reality they are both selling steady in America around 200,000 a month and the PS3 is selling well in in the rest of the world. Although they both probably could use a price cut in Japan since PS3 is only selling 10,000 weekly and the 360 is lucky if the break 2000 to 3000 a week.
I do believe that the main issue with the PS3 at the moment is the lack or RPG's and JRPG's and most of there heavy hitters....

Not a big surprise. What do you expect from an exclusive review. But I do see this becoming a trend with the average being in the low to mid 9's although I'm sure there will be a 8 or lower somewhere. There always is.

Did you ever think that some people may not be caught up in the “WOW effect” and are extremely happy with there purchase I am. There are plenty of games out there that I am enjoying and I have no problems that I spent the money on a PS3. You seem to take offense when someone calls you a 360 fanboy when you bash the system, but when someone says there happy with there purchase their caught up in the "WOW effect. You are pathetic and a hypocrite.
Not a bad update although the demos you could get on the US PSN a week or 2 ago. But there is a lot of content and they definitely have been stepping up there game lately.
