I had no issues but if you waited for the last second there were major server issues with the MGO beta. And in all honesty I do not have an issue with paying for this. I've only ever been in one beta and I had to preorder MGS4 to get it. Now I was going to get this anyways so no big deal. The way I look at it is I went on the store last night. Downloaded 3 demos a bunch of videos and movie trailers all for free. Then paid 3 dollars got qore and got some more videos some themes and access to a beta i wouldn't of got access to any other way. So in the long run if you don't want to pay 3 bucks your not really losing out. You miss the beta at least I believe the easiest way to get into the beta. But its not like qore subscribers also got the 3 demos and all the non qore users just...
I don't remember reading anywhere that qore users would be getting demos before non qore users. What they said was exclusive demos that we would not have other wise. Plus its only once a month that we get an episode, so there are still 3 - 4 weeks a month were there will be videos and demos. I don't see them holding demos for a few weeks just to put them on qore. If live is getting them and then 3 weeks later qore got them then maybe its a diffrent issue. I guess we just need to wait and see....
Sounds decent I subscribed for all the episodes. I'll be checking it out when I get home. Socom beta FTW can't wait till its open.
Not a big shocker. Although this doen't look well for the future of madden. Since evry madden since 05 is on the list and there all basically the same game. So there is no reason why EA should try that hard with it and try to make it diffrent.
It does suck that some of these games are being delayed more so with 8 days and the getaway. But with the lineup already this year these games weren't even in my top 5 to 10 lists. So them getting pushed back may suck for some dosen't bother me at the momment. Hopefully they will start back up and put out at a time when there isn't as many games releasing.
The first time I heard about this game I thought it would be good. But then it got ripped by critics and it turned out crappy. Lets hope they made some big improvements.
I am torn with this. On one hand getting access to betas and exclusive content is nice. But on the other hand this is the reason I don't have xbox live. I do not want to pay for online service. But I guess as long as it's only to get into betas and have sneak peeks it's not to bad. Just keep the demos and the other content on the PSN free.

I was skepitcal about this game, but after a lot of reviews I may have to pick this up. Sounds like a solid game.
Although this game is garbage in many aspects I have heard that the multiplayer was pretty fun and may be the saving grace for this. It is a shame you were not able to try it out.
well I wouldn't go that far I'd get it if it was free or a relatively good price, but I see what your saying. I beat it at least the story, and I'm having a hard time trying to convince myself to go back and try and finish it 100%
Well I think the reason Sony let some of there previous exclusive slip and did not shell out money for them is very simple. They felt like they have won the last two gens of consols and they had a big ego, and figured hell we have the name noone would dare leave us. Well unfortunately M$ has deep pockets and money talks. actually i did have online racing but you weren't on the same track which was my only true complaint about that game.
There may be a possibility that the final build will fix some issues. But it almost seems to me that there were some bad reviews, and there hoping by sending out a letter and telling everyone to hold on till they receive the retail copy there may be less negative reviews and NG2 will sell better. NOw I'm not saying that it will sell any worse one way or the other but less negative reviews the better.

True but Lost planet isn't in the same league as Bioshock. Lost Planet got bad reviews on the 360 and on the PS3. Where as Bioshock is the top rated game on the 360 and has been talked about for a year on how good it is. So this could sell pretty d@mn well, and may even push some consoles. Since there could be some PS2 owners out there looking to make the jump to either the PS3 or the 360. I may check this out. It's nice to here a developer that is so passionate about a game. And is willing to try something new that he know's may not be real mainstream, and may only appeal to a handful of people. I'm not sure if this is my type of game, but I am open to try out any game if it's fun. But listening to this guy talk about it how can you not get excited and want to try it out.
