Onlive had a have capture where you press a record button on the bottom of the controller and it records the last 10 seconds of game play...they're called brag clips, they're pretty cool.
Also the vita screen capture is awesome but doesn't capture psp games unfortunately.
The quality is not nearly as high as it was because they haven't really progressed that well into the 'HD era'.
For an MMO to be successful on consoles it needs to do two things....be free to play and be fast moving...meaning even a player who invests a small amount of time can feel relevant and not get distraught when they see a level 50 player.
To be fair microsoft did allow FFXI to be on the 360.

however I will say that touch screens work best with certain games like superbrothers ep, infinity blade, rts games and pretty much anything menu driven.

did you read the article? He didn't justify it, just said it got him thinking on what were the worst endings to a game he has played.
Lets say you make a product and then sell it for $20. You then find out that your product has over 1 million registered users....but you only have sales showing for 600k of those million registered users....that means that you missed out on 400k units if sales...give or take. someone else capitalized on your product..that's not very fair!
on the flip side, pre owned purchases are in just about all markets except digital media (where piracy is rampant) and I don't wit...
The only thing is the jrpg audience is predominantly on playstation...therefore those games never reached they're intended market, therefore those games suffered in sales....lost odyssey is my favorite jrpg this generation but not many people played it.

what you are suggesting is to strip any creativity from the devs.
their goal is to take their creative ideas and turn them into something they feel will entertain people...if they fail in that then oh well...I'm sure they are disappointed that their creative ideas weren't enjoyed.
You're wrong...if you have ever taken a screen capture on a vita, you would know that you're wrong.
If you are even thinking about taking a screen capture in the first place, your immersion is broken. Plus if you didn't want to use the then don't.
There is no reason to disagree here unless you're disagreeing for the sake of disagreeing...just say it wouldn't be a feature you would utilize.
