Sweet jesus, that's cheeky. If Twisted Pixel doesn't deliver on its promises, the company's gonna get flamed to hell.
You may want to start backing your saves up, just in case. :P
Hold on..didn't this happen with Dragon Age Origins on 360 as well? Bioware, I love you and your games, but fix whatever system you're using for your saved games.
If i were to lose hours of gameplay because of something that I didn't even do, I'd just sell the game. There's no fucking way I'd replay anything.
Huzzah! I'm glad that even on a repository of clones, developers do have the ability to protect their intellectual property.
I could not agree with this more. It's both an incredible game, and a terrible one at the same time.
I loved comixzone, shit was rad.
VANQUISSSSSSSSSSSHHHHHHHHHHHH!
Not really surprising, it was Shinji Mikami afterall. I've said it elsewhere, but I was terribly disappointed with Enslaved. I think the most surprising game I played this year was Game Dev Story...i hate management games in general, but that games sucked my life away for 3 days straight.
I was quite disappointed by Enslaved. amazing cast, writers and production - but a game that pretty much held your hand the entire way. It's like they wanted to tell the player a story - but the game play got in the way so they stripped it down to bare essentials.
Sweet mag, bro.
what an awesome game. It gets RIDICULOUSLY difficult later on though.
I could be down for RDR completely. It's also the first large-scale sandboxer I've been compelled enough to complete.
Even though it's broken, my nod has to go to Fallout : New Vegas. 60 hours, and I've barely touched the main story. Of course, StarCraft 2's multiplayer will keep it played for ages.
Racing games (or simulators, if you prefer) don;t interest me personally, so I disagree with your choice - but i'm pretty sure it'll ring true for many.
Uncharted 2 came out in October 2009 though..wouldn't really have it as eligible for 2010 awards.
Slick get-up, Mr Awards man.
I've been having way more fun with Kinect Adventures than I anticipated.
I think it's to signify that it *just* falls short of greatness.
Yeah, I'm inclined to agree. It may be disappointing, but with the fact that it offers superlative simulation, it can hardly be called a "monumental fail."
I just want this for the Karts, man!
I'm divided. On the one hand, Gameloft's iOS games are pretty good facsimiles of games that would never make their way to apple's devices. On the other, if they actually used their talents to create something original, they could make potentially make something incredible for mobiles.
