Civilization V is always my go-to games for a blood-pumping good time. Build an army, make an A-bomb, and let the world do the rest.

P.T. might very well be the scariest game I've never played but nearly tossed my cookies watching. Hideo Kojima and Guillermo del Toro have some demons to work through, I think.

Journey is a marvel of modern game design. I just want to wrap myself up in it like a big blanket and fall asleep in its loving arms.

Shame that Shadow of Mordor was such a mess on PS3. AC: Rogue and Dark Souls II are the shoe-ins otherwise, but Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel was pretty darn sweet.

Wouldn't be surprised if it was Duck Hunt. A shooter in a shooter, or maybe just a funny 2D Splatoon as a kind of Animal Crossing-like joke.

Wait – the Dreamcast was getting games this year? Don't mean to sound sarcastic, but I honestly didn't know about this at all. The more you know, I guess. Thanks.

How could anyone eat something like that? Personally, I don't eat anything that looks like it's looking back at me.

Don't think enough JRPGs will make it to 2015.

Does anyone else have the feeling that this could be EA's Final Fantasy XV? This is an RPG we've heard squat about since it was glossed over by Bioware, and even then we've never gotten an official announcement. The game's not even titled yet. I have this gut instinct to believe this is the game EA's gotta work on for the rest of this generation to get right – story and gameplay-wise, even more so than Battlefront.

Those cars are probably going to be the most realistic part of the game. Well, that and the infinite supply of hair gel.

GTA's a hit-or-miss on PC, but Majora's Mask is the remaster bombshell of the year. If only I could've gotten my hands on that sweet New 3DS version. Darn.

As I recall, people complained about Wolfenstein's E3 demos for quite a while until it finally released. Maybe The Order:1886 is in the same boat.

A shame GTA V didn't get that kind of discount for the remastered version. Went into the Xbox store thinking I was picking up a 1080p Los Santos, lol

To each their own, I guess. Inquisition looks great to me. Might have to get it when I come up with the money and finish Sunset Overdrive and AC Unity.

Best deal of last holiday season. AC Unity and AC: IV are a steal for free, but honestly, I'd recommend getting the cheaper $350 model and just getting Sunset Overdrive too and play it for cheaper than the white XBO bundle.

I'm liking AC Unity thus far. Just started playing it this weekend and granted, it's got bugs galore – albeit negligible ones compared to the clunky control scheme. There are glitches and there's annoying micro transaction, but overall, the game's got vision.

If it's last year's AC III, then it falls on its sword valiantly enough for me to mourn what it was striving to be. I'm actually liking Arno as a protagonist and he's one of the few in re...

Infamous was the only Playstation 4 game really worth getting the system for, but if you count games on the console at all, then Shadow of Mordor, Dragon Age: Inquisition, GTA V Remastered were the best 30-300 hr. investments of your time last year.

Every generation tends to max out its sales come their third year. If last year was 2007, then this year is still 2008 in spite of the almost unprecedented number of big-name games coming out in 2015.

That means we still really have 2016 to see if we can outdo 2009, and we might already be doing that a year early. Good news no matter how you spin it, because the clock's still got a good long while 'til it runs out.

What a remarkable experience. I'd have to admit that I cried, like, 3 times playing this. So moving. I'm glad that I'm not alone in loving this.
