It's as legitimate strategy as any if you can do it in-game. What's not said about campers is that they're just as vulnerable as anyone while securing their spot. That's why there's a thing called snipers in the real military – and they take their fair share of shots too.
I've never bought a season pass and never intend to, but Far Cry 4 sure looks tight. Hope to get it as soon as I can land the funds. Looks like a blast, DLC or no DLC.
How can what he says be true if all the Uncharted games except Golden Abyss hold a 90 or higher on Metacritic? Did Sony grant Naughty Dog bonuses only for a perfect 100? I'm confused what kind of money he lost out on; no company could ever promise that kind of payout and be believed, you'd think.
If there's anything that can be criticized about Metacritic, it's that its average score for movies is different than films. A 70 out of 100 is usually average for g...
Can't think of anyone more qualified for a Star Wars game than Amy Hennig. If Uncharted was the best Indiana Jones game we never got, than let's see what she can do with a bonafide Star Wars game. I'm ready, EA. Let her work her magic.
That's just the most adorable amiibo I've seen yet. I want a real one now.
I'd rather save my money for the game.
I recall that most indie games are showing up on XBO by now. Ori and the Blind Forest, Transistor, Lifeless Planet, Inside, Knight Squad, Smite, Volgarr the Viking, Space Engineer –If it's not a problem for indie devs, than how is it a problem for Microsoft?
PS Now is so massively over-priced it's not even funny. You can pick up a PS3 Super Slim for $180 or lower just about anywhere. PS Now basically rents you games for $10-20 more than what you can buy them for at retail. Just keep the PS3 you have or get a new one. You're better off.
Smart move. Xbox needs the boost as a brand. Expanding the market can only do them more good than harm. More screens, more money, right?
Standard M-rated fair in 2015.
The format isn't the issue so much as their consistency is. I'd like it if they had one each month on a more regular schedule just so the word could get out beforehand; the ambush style broadcasts could be better arranged.
That said, they all just come down to what they announce. Good games, good Direct. Period.
Bayonetta 2 might be the best, but Super Smash Bros and Mario Kart 8 might be the biggest time sinks.
Wow, it sure does look amazing. Naughty Dog should take notes.
What they should be doing is remastering more games than they're just rereleasing. Twilight Princess, Last Story, Super Mario Sunshine, and the Metroid Prime trilogy would all look heavenly in HD.
If she paints like that, then she's not likely to go unpaid for work like that for long.
I'm sure it will. The Witcher II's probably the Dragon Age-level shoe-in for GOTY if all goes well.
Broforce looks like a wicked time. Glad they're as dedicated to it as they seem to be; it probably deserves it.
Overall, 2014 was a decent time. It's exactly the kind of pilot you expect from a new generation – full of new IPs still trying to find themselves and a bunch of the usual trying to shed their skin on new hardware.
Amidst all of the gritty, dark games we got, it was probably Bayonetta 2, Sunset Overdrive, and Super Smash Bros. that I fell in love with for the exact opposite reason. Last year gave us a ridiculous burst of color and I can thank Nintendo and Insomniac just f...
"War...has changed." Take that, Fallout 3.
