A good review will always be a well-written, well-reseaerched review, scores or no score. There's always going to have to be bullet-points or a big "Recommend" tag applied to reviews for the people who want to scroll down and look for a quick opinion. You can't stop folks from skimming any article and honestly, for most sites, once you've clicked and loaded the page, you've already paid them their due anyway unless you use AdBlock – in which case, readers are on...
Metal Gear Solid V is the Peace Walker that never could be on PSP. Looking awesome so far.
So, that's 24 chapters, probably a half-hour each at best? That means it's probably about 12-13 hours. That's pretty good and exactly what I'd expect from a Gears-style third-person shooter in 2015. Sounds all right by me.
Evolve looks like the type of game that's fun with friends but a pain to play alone. This year's Destiny, basically. There's a case to be made for multiplayer only games, but only if companies put their heart and soul into it.
I don't want to kill PewDiePie, frankly. He's a rather nice guy whose work is an acquired taste.
That's quite a boast. Here's to them beating the odds. The Last of Us is a hard game to beat.
Just entered. So many great games last year.
It won't with this gamer. Windows has already invaded more than its fair share of my gaming.
Good for them. Pirating is every company's problem. Shouldn't be tolerated in the slightest.
You should play it on the New 3DS because of the system's fantastic 3D. Nice to see it from all sides while you're playing than having to keep your head in the same place for hours at a time. And the c-stick can't be beat in the handheld market right now.
As long as they let me use my old instruments, I'm game.
Simply gorgeous looking. This game might be the best-looking Final Fantasy ever made.
That's a stellar deal. I wish I had the money right now, my Xbox Live time is almost out.
If they something amazing with the Anvil engine for AC: Victory, people will change their tune. Problem is, Ubisoft's small victories never pay off in the long run before they forget them.
That's really awesome.
Gaming's only as bad as any hobby you let take over your life. It's sure created a lot of geniuses in the world for those who've learned through it, though. Look at all of the Shigeru Miyamotos and Gabe Newells of the world. There are a lot of people who've come together thanks to gaming.
I'd love another platformer as good as Banjo again. That is, if Rare isn't already making a new one.
Games with 30 fps are fine either way. It may not be as "cinematic" without the cinematography to back it up, but it doesn't crash as long as it's stable. It's 20 and below that creates problems. In my experience, 60 fps is more relevant if you're dealing with online multiplayer lag.
Whether or not they change the name means little compared to what they choose to do with their software.
This is the year of the JRPG, for sure. Bloodbourne, Xenoblade Chronicles X, Persona 5, Final Fantasy Type-0: wow. I'll be playing these for the next ten years.
