Frame-rate's always depends on the game. For a game as fast as DmC or God of War III, you're gonna need 60 fps. For a game like the Last of Us – one of the very best-looking PS4 games if not the best as of now – runs at 30fps. It's true that something too fast for a "cinematic game" generally ups the "uncanny valley" of it all like The Hobbit movies at 40 fps in cinemas just two years ago made people nauseous. The slower the game, the slower the frame rate...
I know I'm going to sound like a broken record – but Final Fantasy VII? Like the article mentions, remake, sequel, or reboot. No more simple rereleases, Square Enix.
I can remember Metal Gear Solid 2's Tanker mission like it was yesterday. Still a great game in itself.
Too bad they couldn't have gotten Gal Gadot and then they would've been playing Mario Kart 8 with Wonder Woman too.
I need another Spyro – a GOOD Spyro and one not Skylanders.
Doesn't that describe every Metal Gear?
If history repeats itself, we'll be seeing something like "Ironborne" and "Ironborne II" be the best games of all time too. Well done, From Software. Well done.
I sure do wish that trains were a part of the demo, but then, that falls in line with their concerns about the car. They wanted people to explore all of the demo at their leisure and not have to worry about limited space for parking.
How on earth did he do that? That's a pretty godly ability he has.
Rainbow Six: Siege is so coming out before The Division and it's already looking like it'll be the better game. I'm not too keen on online multiplayer much of the time, but this looks like the tight co-op experience you want to have your friends along for the ride.
Graphics have been such a negligible thing that Ubisoft made a bigger deal than it was by being so desperately dishonest about it. Siege is the first game I've seen from Ubi that actually makes me ...
Sell it as hard to developers as you do consumers, Nintendo. Make people WANT this console. Make it the console that everyone wants to buy. The Wii sold because the entire family felt included. Mom, Dad, the kids, and even the grandparents – Nintendo's only going to cash in on a true family console, not just some half-made PS3 super slim that plays year-old third-party games.
That really is lovely. Nice work!
Oh man, this is bringing me right back to all the hype of September of '13 all over again. If this is what GTA VI is going to look like launch day, than we're in for GTA getting only better and better.
Bomb threats don't solve anything if this was over EA's games. Buy the good and ignore the rest. Your wallet's the only weapon against the the company's policies. When you decide you need to really hurt or simply harass person out of revenge, you don't deserve games. You're a troll.
April is gonna be one tight month for PC gamers – and GTA V is the only title that need qualify for it. You say there are 4K graphics mods? You say there's 60 fps? Sold.
That's a nice deal, but the DLC is gonna make up for that, I guarantee it. NetherRealm's more than capable of nickel and diming us with $25 worth of two to three downloadable characters, if just that.
It's great that this came out at a time when everyone almost gave up hope for an international port. Dang, I can't wait to play this.
I really hear good things about this. Too bad so many non-Japanese games are skipping Wii U and 3DS too soon.
Great, the loading times have been dreadful for the last two games of the series. Won't be picking this up.
Funny how impatient I've become as I've gotten older, not more patient. As a kid, like it's said up above, I would've never given up on a game. NEVER. It's only thanks to there simply being so many games that I'm insistent on beating games really, really fast and moving onto the next. I can't afford as much time for gaming either thanks to more schoolwork and work and all.
Changing points in my life seems to have just made games harder as well as t...
