I can most definitely point to times in history to where a studio would have been third party but Sony decided to buy them. I own all three machines so it’s no bias coming from me.
@Sparky77 they don’t have marketing rights to COD as whole , thats like saying Activison isn’t allowed to advertise COD. If the deal goes through they’ll only be advertising as a publisher not as a console competitor. This isn’t a advertisement for a games release but using a COD image as part of a celebration for a possible merger , big difference.

CV needs to desperately be remade , during my current play through I’m coming across flaws that needs to be addressed. For one the soft lock issue , if you don’t manage your resources right the game will soft lock you .. running out of ammo can be a major issue
I’m playing through it now , and it most definitely needs an update. Like desperate need , that game has the potential to soft lock you in so many ways and so far I feel like it’s the weakest entry in the fixed camera era
@XiNatsudragnel but in game you only get 2 with a bunch of other weapons you might want to spend them on. It’s gamers like you who ruin gaming , complain about options that have no effect on nobody but the people who decide to buy them. @Passbox the thing is the Devs won’t allow a purposeful downgrade on PS , they don’t want that bad press and that would harm them in the long run. If this deal goes through I deal MS will still want then best experience PS can get because that’ll keep the revenue coming in. Ppl be so quick to defend their plastic box , I have a PS5 and Series X .. I’m talking about as far as sells go it’s still 2 SKUs on the market for both PS5 and the Series consoles. It’s a PS5 with a drive and there’s one without a disc drive.
Cheaper options are out there , you can always use a USB SSD I’m pretty sure they work just as good.
