3D will indeed make a difference, I remember back as a kid, I always use to play all my games on a normal screen card. Then Later got a 3D card just to play all those games again, to see how good it looks.
Now I think 3D will have the same effect on people like the 3D card had for me. It grants a new experience of entertainment entirely! Not to mentions prolongs a game's life, always a good thing If you feel like you got a good gaming experience for your buck
