@Father_Merrin Not strictly true. Although I believe Microsoft’s strategy is to make big profits with its gaming division, it’s not unheard of for diverse businesses to run some segments at a loss indefinitely.
In sales and marketing it’s what we call a “loss leader”.
It would be done to drive brand recognition of the “Microsoft” brand specifically, which in the long run would drive increased revenue in more profitable segments of the business.

I’m playing on a 65” LG CX OLED which is widely regarded as the best gaming tv on the market so yeh, nice try. Oh and for the record, I have better than 20:20 vision.
As per my previous post, I’m not denying that it runs well, but to deny that the textures in this game are blurry is just that, denial. It’s in no small part a result of reconstruction as opposed to a native resolution.
AGAIN, the game, overall, looks and runs great. However, these morons...
It’s blurry as hell, it’s blatantly 1080p upscaled in order to achieve 60fps, rendering natively at 1800p or above would have crippled it to 30fps.
The particle effects are amazing but hailing it as a graphical showcase is quite a stretch.
If it was Xbox exclusive people would be crying “but it’s 1080p in 2021 pahahaha” and such like.
It looks brilliant in my opinion, but the hypocrisy online is astounding 😂

Likely because they’re going to double dip consumers for them. There’s no other feasible explanation at this point. Same goes for horizon zero dawn. Shady business practice if you ask me. I’ve just platinumed ratchet and clank at 60fps and it was game changing. Glad it was a free upgrade though!

Played this game at egx 2017 last September and it was freaking fantastic. The level of immersion was unlike anything I’ve played in a good while. Xbox is my primary gaming console, but after selling my PS4, this game made me re invest in a PS4 pro in preparation for it
