too bad this doesn't cover other US territories like Puerto Rico.
gameplay wise all Zelda games since Ocarina are practically the same thing over and over again though. They add a gimmick here and there (sailing, wolf, etc.) but it still the same game.
by know you should be aware that Nintendo does not give a fk about what fans want.
da cloud will make this gen to last 20 years with its infinite power. Bad for those with crap internet because they are not invited to this party. ;)
beside the US the UK was the only other territory they dominated. So I don't think the Xbone will do as good as the X360 did.
he praised Killzone 2 and Uncharted 2 when they came out. He even tried to motivate people to buy Killzone 3 but it still sold like crap.
it's so illogical that they do it because they know people will click on the story to read the stupidity.
nobody even knows how this worked exactly, explanations were always confusing. What they are lamenting is the idea they created in the minds about how it worked.
CliffyB retired because he was tire of the game industry....
MS did everything wrong from the beginning and it was obvious they didn't have a clear vision because they retracted very fast and they couldn't even explain the benefits in a way that anybody could understand it. They just kept changing and twisting and then claiming that policies weren't finalized etc. It's all their fault that things ended like this and I think is better this way.
but fanboys will be fanboys I guess... Could computing is just to generate some buzz.
so the Cloud was like MS's version of Gaikai? Because that makes no sense. Ms never announced that they were going to offer any streaming services like Gaikai. All they said was that you could access your games from any Xbox but to be able to play them you still had to download them the old way just like with the PS3. You created your account on the new Xbox and voala... Nothing revolutionary or new.
And the 300,000 was bulcrap. Like half of them were virtual...
all the games were going to have DRM but they were still going to be sold for $59.99! I bet that if MS said right away that games were going to be $10 cheaper because of DRM they would have avoided the backslash but they were expecting people to trust them. To trust MS, the most monopolistic company in the world. To put trust on the fact that they were going to make games become cheaper because of DRM... Yeah right.
then buy all your games digitally. What is the problem now? Every game being released on disc will have a digital version too. And remember that you can start playing while downloading the game. Or at least it will be possible on the PS4 and you can already do it on the PS3, so the "immediate" excuse is not valid here.
And why Kinect features will be pointless now? To me they were already pointless. lol
I've been asking this to many people, how DRM made the XB1 future proof? But no one has been able to come up with a compelling answer.
So, can you come up with something clever? And to make it even more enticing, just give me 1 reason. Just 1 and of-course an explanation.
What was revolutionary and future proof about the Xbox One before they dropped the DRM?
well now instead of having to download a 5-50GB game you just can simply borrow the disc. Is not like the 10 family member were going to be able to play the game at the same time, so what was the big deal? ;)
digital games still have DRM though, so if they removed it entirely it was because they wanted.
you really do not understand the implications of this.
You say that there are no arguments against your points but you didn't say anything on that wall of test. All you said was that you bend because you can. =/
You don't even know how the family sharing thingy was going to work. Not even MS knew....
Day 1 releases
Faster Downloads
More MMOs
that has nothing to do with DRM or 24 hours check ins... Share-list wasn't even explained clearly. 1 time disc was stupid anyway, especially with an HDD you can't upgrade.
-Access games anywhere
You can already do that on PS3 (and hopefully on the PS4 too) where you have digital games and you can access them from any PS3 but you still need the bandwidth to download them. So if ...
DRM for a few games > DRM for every single game no matter what
