more like they want to build the fanbase as fast as possible to then rest on their laurels while cashing-in on XBL fees and multiplats, or at least that's how MS played it this gen. Strong start but weak middle and end.
the running is what made it unique and less repetitive and boring. Too much combat will just make it feel more traditional.

Yakuza on PS2 and PS3 are some of the best sellers in Japan but... Not in the west. Because the thing is that people have totally the wrong idea about this franchise and they don't know on the great experience they are missing out. Not even weaboos support this series but like I said, it's because they have the wrong idea about the games.

it might be because of reverse importing because the game's really expensive in Japan... This is my only theory because all Yakuza games are in Japanese so they don't even need to hire voice actors to dub it. They just need to translate the text and that is it. Profit even if the game sells like crap.

the same argument could be made for the internet, online co-op, HD graphics, etc. BC should be on every system by default unless you want that legacy to be lost... But it's funny that gamers want video games to be art but they don't respect the past.

what frame-rate issues are you talking about? This game is 60 frames and Youtube vids are capped at 30 frames... So unless there is some software involved that tells you the frame count then it's not possible to make any comment about the frame-rate.
