Boring? Why does a UI need to be fun? Do you want to manage your way through a menu by playing tetris? If it's just the looks you don't like, there are thousands of themes and backgrounds to make it look less boring. The most important thing in any UI is functionality; finding what you need fast and with ease, and that's what crossbar menu does well. I don't think you need any more than that. When I want to have fun, I play games.
Also Chris12, you just answ...
The Last of Us MP is awesome. The in game menu didn't bother me at all. Usually I just bought a weapon upgrade or armor while waiting to respawn.
Uncharted 4 was a different story. There was just too much stuff shoehorned in to it, that I only played it for a couple of hours and left it at that.
I could't take this video seriously after the second time I heard "better quality pixels".
@Neonridr
"So do we say that people didn't care about the game in its original form? Or was it because it was free?"
I don't know but I never even heard about Fortnite until the talk about it copying PUBG began.
Absolutely not. It would be a disaster if MS went down this way. Xbox One is lacking of exclusive games to make it relevanat for anyone who owns any PC powerful enough to play new games well enough. They simply don't have enough studios to justify having separate exclusives for XBOX and XBO. Even if they were pumping quality exclusives at the same rate as Sony and Nintendo, it wouldn't still be right, because they said from the beginning that all new games will come to XBO and XBOX. ...
@Erik7357
"Microsoft by far is the best positoned company to launch a streaming game service , they are leading in that industry of technologies."
Now how does that work when Sony already has a streaming game service?
Git gud.
Lol no. I'll play it on my PC if I want to.
I would be very surprised if it didn't.
I had shivers running up and down my spine when I recognized the tower and bridge of SotC. This was a good no nonsense showing without shady and false over use of the word "exclusive" all over the show, and also actually showing exclusives. Not just saying they're exclusive when they're not. Also there's still gamescom and TGS to come, and even without those shows I would be more than happy with what PS has in store for us in the near future.
But you haven't delivered anything yet. So shut the F up. Also it doesn't matter how powerful Scorpio will be, unless you start delivering on games.
No. I don't even know how people have time to watch other people play games. When I can, I definitely want to play myself.
It doesn't matter who's getting his money. What matters is that if you own a good enough PC, then there is absolutely no reason to buy an Xbox, because all the big games are available on PC too.
Who cares? I have a PC, tablet and smartphone for services anywhere I need them. Aside from games, I only need my console to have Viaplay, Netflix and HBO Nordic available. And I think by now those apps are available on pretty much everything, including smart watches, oscilloscopes and toothbrushes.
The only difference being forbes is anti-gaming, gamingbolt is only anti-sony.
I'm starting to think forbes is a comedy site. Every time I read anything from them, I can't stop laughing.
Why?
It seems to me that even the sales on PSN aren't as good as they used to be. For example I remember buying Borderlands 2 + season pass for less than 30€ just a few months after release back in the day on PS3, from 12 deals of christmas. Last years 12doc was more like 12 disappointments of christmas. Also where are the flash sales for EU territories?
And also better performance. The Wolf Among Us and Game of Thrones we're damn close to being unplayable for me on PS3 due to very bad FPS, weird stutterings, audio problems and some other glitches.

"Naughty Dog brought in online passes in the past too."
As did pretty much every other dev which released a game with any kind of online capabilities between 2010-2013 on playstation, back when PS+ wasn't required for online play. What is your point?
