For me it's Days Gone. The writing and voice acting are excellent. Really good story too and I'd love to see a sequel on PS5. I think this might be my favourite game of 2019.

The story was great, and an awesome soundtrack, but aside from the story there was nothing else to do in the open world unfortunately. I hope they do a Mafia IV and have it set during the seventies or eighties, or even early nineties.

But with the likes of Diablo 4, Beyond Good & Evil 2 and more this trend is just gonna go on. Makes me a bit paranoid about upcoming games like Watch Dogs Legion and Halo Infinite. I'm sure they'll have have great solo campaigns but what if they force the player to be connected at all times? Nothing would put me off more.
Dino Crisis, Onimusha, Dragon's Dogma 2, and maybe even reviving Final Fight and Ghosts 'n Goblins all for next-gen would be f%$#ing awesome.
