Most of the time upgrading GPU isn't needed unless your going for a higher rez then current vid card can handle.
But i'd say to anyone with a half decent pc, there will probably be settings that cost alot performance wise with no visual impact or very little.

Problem with crysis on Both PS3/360 is that it's not 720p. It's under, not by much, but enough to affect the clarity.
Crytek should have removed some assets, foliage on the console versions and brought it too 720p.
I'd say the same for BF games on PS3/360. 30fps should be constant, if not drop assets not rez.
Crysis3 on PC maxed is stunning, as is BF4.
But only exclusives will take a...

For me KILLZONE2 Has one of the best Single player campaigns of Recent times.

BF4 MP is awesome, but SP is crap. Same with BF3. Should leave SP alone.
Resistance 3 was also better then COD/BF Campaigns.
