The XBOXONE GPU isn't midrange. It's lowend.
The PS4 is midrange.
But yes there are much better GPU'S in PC'S right now.
The problem for X1 is that while a few SDK's might help them here and there. It'll never catch up.
PS4 once it starts using Compute will smoke it even further.

A PS4/ XB1 is a known quantity that can be optimized for.

Give it another 1-2 generations of video cards, before that time there will be hardly any difference.
