if there is a game you really want to play that is on one console and not the other then that should be the console you buy. say gears of war gets you going then xbox 360, resistance then PS3, or you can look into the future, forza motorsport 2 or grand turismo, halo 3 or metal gear solid. maybe also decide on how important online play is to you, what controller you like. ITs all subjective i feel.

you don't need the multiple spawns cause you have multiple rounds in each match. i never feel like i am waiting to long for a round to be over with either. I don't think having multiple lives or spawns would work with the dynamics of the game, but you never know, it may make it even better. frankly GOW is the most fun i have online, better then halo 2 online in my opinion.

i do quick match and get in most every time. you have to hit "x" for refresh and it give you another few games you can join, usually the 2-4 or 5th game i can always join, also look games with less people in them.

to me it looks like halo 2 graphics, but as people say it is way to early to be judging the graphics. but the environments and everything else looks about the same as they have always been, i hope the vehicle physics revert to the first halo, i loved jumping wart hogs off tanks and such.

with the quick match, but i did realize after a while that if you press the refresh button (X) that it gives you a few different games to join and if you join one with less players you have a much better chance of actually connecting to that game. but so far i have spent probably equal time trying to join a game and playing a game.
had a 500 GB one for $170 after rebates yesterday! but i just stream from my computer. if you are having problem streaming from WMP 11 you have to click the tiny little arrow below library then click on media sharing and allow the xbox. i had problems with the old media connect, but WMP 11 works very beautifully for me.
also another note for videos, is that you have to put the videos you want to watch in the "my videos" folder.

you can get tons of hd-dvd from netflix for 16 a month (i get 4 to 5 movies a week, using the 2 movie at a time plan), and you can keep them as long as you want. in terms of cheapness and consumer friendliness this doesn't compete with netflix. though it is definitely better then going to blockbuster to go rent a video!
i agree with the fellows who say its pricey, and definitely cheaper in the not so long run to get the hd-dvd add on. You can get HD-dvds from netflix right now and blue ray early next year. but this is really cool, and bet that i will use the service. but $6 for a rental is not competitive!

i figured out you have to put the videos in your "my videos" folder in your documents. other wise it won't find the videos.
last year there were many hdtv's for sale that only showed 1080i, from panasonic, samsung even sony. I think they even still sell those 1080i crt tvs.
