I’m not sure I’d refer to it as the best of them all, but I certainly think it was better then odyssey’s terrible open world. Copy and pasted areas with the exactly same buildings and layout, followed by open areas that really didn’t look impressive and nothing in them....at all.
Funny that this article popped up. I started this up last weekend and going to dive back in today as well. Definitely worth a revisit after the patch.
Plus, it’s just one of the best games of the entire generation. Simply fantastic.
No orchard it can’t be said for the months Sony outsold Microsoft.
As we all know, PlayStation is the vastly more popular and in demand product then an Xbox. Sales for PlayStation 5 will double Xbox series consoles. It’s just reality.
Hahaha, who is this clueless person? A Microsoft employee?
Give it a bit of time until Sony can produce enough consoles for the public. Their sales are already double what Xbox has achieved to date and they’re severely lagging in production. The popularity and demand for the two are no where near close.
I’d take a prequel honestly. I’d like a game with Sully as the protagonist. You could even find a way to incorporate Katherine Marlowe from Uncharted 3 who was the villainess. They had history after all.
Anything Sully and I’d be in.
Not accurate, you can find the whole write up that indicates 3rd person was the initial plan and part of the early development.
It was overhauled when Adam Badowski took over the lead on the project.
There seems to be some misunderstanding from some people. A simple google search to find the whole article about the mess Cyberpunk created will show that initial plans, early development WAS for third person. It was changed to first person in around early 2017.
3rd person would have been a much better choice as far as I’m concerned considering the player ‘customization’ you never really see. The change of direction which included a story overhaul that began in 2017 also di...
The worst thing is that this game was initially 3rd person and designed to be that way only for it to change in development.
This game would have been so much better if it was 3rd person. I’m waiting on a patch for the PS4 version I’m playing on my PS5 to finish the game because of my crashing issue(every 45 minutes or so). After I finish it, I likely won’t play it again and go back to the Witcher 3.
I have tried backwards compatibility. It’s alright, nothing special and mostly a gimmick to claim they have ‘games’. That’s the actual reality of it. When I feel like playing my old games, I pull out my old systems(SNES, PS1, PS2, GameCube etc). Having PS4 games for backwards compatibility is more then enough IMO.
At no point did I say competition is bad, but the competition actually needs to provide something of value and significance to be considered competitors. Havi...
Lol multi generational backwards compatibility. If that’s their claim to fame and what some people actually care about, they’re dead in the water. Just sad.
Plenty of Americans are Nazis and hold those beliefs. That’s America’s reality.
Ah yes, hyperbole, conjecture, opinions stated as ‘alternative facts’. This current belief that people hold where actual facts and numbers don’t matter & they can just say whatever nonsense they want and believe it as ‘truth’ needs to end ASAP.
I enjoyed part 2 more then the first game, even with the vocal minority throwing a temper tantrum.
standard across all open world games. The problem is the same thing this game suffers from across the board. Poorly implemented and poorly optimized. This game needed many more months in the oven before releasing.
I own and play it on PS5, but It has plenty of problems(crashes every 45min-hour). Crazy part is when it works, I have been enjoying it.
I’d have preferred this way more then the first person perspective. Still think that was a mistake.
Yeah, no. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. Even if it’s a bad one lol
CDPR has nothing on the likes of Bethesda & EA. Do people not remember the Fallout 76 debacle and the state that game launched in? Or how about the ‘editions’ you could preorder(the canvas bag, the jacket lol). People wanted to sue. Or every game they make and the fact it’s constantly a broken mess.
Don’t even need to get started on EA. Their track record may be even worse then Bethesda. Somehow people have found ways to accept and be ok with those two companies, so ...
LOL. Is this article serious? I certainly hope it’s satire. Sony’s lineup is outstanding currently.
Really don’t understand how some gamers can’t like Witcher 3. Best game of the last generation as far as I’m concerned. Instant classic that will remain in my top 5 games of all time. To each their own though.
I’m disappointed I let my friends convince me to pick this up and play with them. Needless to say we stopped playing it within a week for this exact reason. Incredibly boring and repetitive.
