Great game that received tons of content... I stopped playing a year ago, but still a great game with great support
People aren't reading the article... It's $30 on top of the normal cost of the game. NOT SOLD SEPARATELY!
So many broken components of this game. This could have been something big, but instead they butchered the MMO side of things...
Indie games remind be of the freeware and shovel ware that we used to get on the pc during the Wolfenstein days. Granted, out of that we got Wolfenstein and changed gaming as we know it, but we basically just got 10000 crappy platformers and various other pieces of garbage

Actually they will have more choice than ever! They will have the cheaper entry level machine that still playa every game, or the more expensive upgraded version. Now, the less fortunate don't have to be a generation behind everyone, they can simply buy the presumably $200 Xbox One while I'm playing my $500-600 Xbox Next...
Same goes for PlayStation, although I don't think I'll be upgrading my PS4 it's still the same benefits!

I bought one for twenty bucks last year... Honestly, I haven't find twenty bucks worth of use for it yet... I thought at least Netflix would make it worthwhile, didn't know it doesn't support Netflix
They will help fund indie titles when it gives them a silly exclusive. Plus they are cheap, so Sony can get twenty to thirty games for the cost of one sunset overdrive... They laugh at the quality as they cash their checks
Microsoft was first out of the gate with this one, for better or worse
For me, I loved the game, I just hated the grinding mechanic. Making that a necessity made me play it less... Awesome game though
First of all, it was revealed earlier that Microsoft wss was doing this first. The fact that we already see patents coming through shows they are ahead of Sony here. Microsoft was thought to be doing this for quite a while...
Second of all, it's a great idea for a company and for the gaming community. 3 year upgrades is perfect for those who want cutting edge and allows people to get in cheaper and still play with the big boys...
What I see is, "indie developer only had enough money to release on one console, so they choose Sony because Sony will pay for indie titles"...
Seriously, there is never a reason other than money and developer time. Let's just end this nonsense
I love Nintendo first party games, but as any studio has shown, if you increase the releases to become annual then the excitement for each new release diminishes. Assassins Creed, even Call of Duty, have all lost the energy behind each new title that they once held. People get excited over a new GTA because we only get one every 5 years. A new Mario every year will destroy the brand in my opinion, regardless of whether quality suffers or not. Sometimes you just need to let the demand rebuild...

No need, I actually have the game and play it. It is incredibly broken. Glitches, bugs, balancing issues.

I own both systems bud. I don't care who makes the game, I care if it is fun. I just think it's crazy that Sony has successfully incited an anti Microsoft mentality...
I didn't under sell them. I didn't but Clank because I'm busy finishing up my RN degree, but I love GT and Uncharted. Both are my favorite games. But I'll be honest, they don't change year to year. They just get polished and prettier. Some games don't need innovation, they are just fun... Plain and simple
Actually they never released under that previous strategy. They changed it, for the gamer, long before release
