"it's all in the cloud" - some lady in South Park
Because it's more of the same? They shipped 1/4 of the game for full price? The PR people are a joke? Is anyone surprised? All these companies think they can "fortinite" it all the way to the bank. Even if they made Battlefield 5 free to play, it's no sure thing and when coupled with PR idiots hahahahaha.
XD
when did the "one" rise?
Mario. The whole plumber thing looks awful.
knowtechie publishes TMZ (like) articles I see.
Yeah, we want Destiny, Fallout 76 and all the other games as a service. Yet, GoW, RDR2, Witcher 3, Spider-Man and 11 million played Bloodborne and I am still seeing new players on the forums.... etc have sold hand over fist and continue to do so. If fact so much that offline single player experiences usually top the charts along with shit shooters and in most cases are the top games.
The will be sure to provide their customers with top of the line games as a service. hahahaha I don't think they will take a serious look at offline single player games.
76 is an awful and broken game with a polished MT shop hahahahaah It was lucky to get a 3, which is a fair score for a game that has only one goal: rip-off gamers.
XD
cartoon Diablo hahaha. I think Wyatt is better off making cell phone games, because Diablo 3 was a thematic departure from 1 and especially 2.
bro
I think games based on tabletop RPGs have a ton of room to grow. Character creation, choice, impactful decisions and the theme well is endless. Yes, we have CyberPunk coming, but to me that's just the tip of the iceberg. We have games like Apocalypse World, Call of Cthulhu (needs to be done better), Vampire: The Masquerade (even a remake of bloodlines), World of Darkness, a proper D&D, Delta Green, The Unexplained and etc
I see game publishers hooking up with Super...
I would have bought an Xbone just for this game.
Online to me is like the toy in a happy meal - it's crappy but fun to play with for a few seconds and share with friends. This is coming from a 40 year old gamer.
This looks like fun. I wish I had a game PC.
ha! Anyone that thinks this is a good idea is a sucker. I have yet to see a good live service game. The graphics are always crap (for the most part). The games are juiced to the gills with MTs. People lose progression due to server crashes. The server needs maintenance, the full price game becomes worthless. If the internet goes down or you are moving and waiting for the net to be installed your expensive game machine and all of its games become worthless.
That's Ubi games.
I hate live service games. The term is coined to sound like it is there to help us, but it really means: full price for a 1/4 of a game and a ton of MTs, not to mention if it fails people get stuck with code they can't even play.
I heard there will be MTs in RE2 of some kind. If capcom follows through with this, it will be like them taking a massive dump on what looks to be an awesome game.
