This theme is my jam, but forcing me to farm side missions or buy xp from their MT shop just to carry on with the story is not (yeah, I can't let it go). I "hope" this will change, because Norse mythology is great.

Most people are not bothered by the current annihilation of indigenous peoples around the world, destruction of our environment, and extreme exploitation. Why would they care about Nathan Drake murdering people in the quest of treasure? Actually ludonarrative dissonance is a great metaphor for human primates.
I played some of this on gamepass. I'm probably going to pick it up for my PS4. The aesthetic is just right for me.
But it will have a 40 usd rocket launcher and a ton of delayed Mts.
Fallout is probably the worst, especially Fallout 4, context considering.

Also, table-top RPGs have been doing it for ages, Kult and World of Darkness are some examples.

It's not the complete game. They are going to milk wallets on nostalgia and people will defend it. It's funny how people gets upset when they get taken for a fool in some circumstances but in others it's okay.

Err, I said Marrowind "was" and used "is" for Skyrim in the context of a decade. err I played them both. But yeah, HZD is way better than Skyrim.

Maybe, but most likely it will be janky with last gen graphics. Bethesda was a gen behind last gen, so expect it to be similar this gen and I am almost sure TEDS VI will have a live service component.
