I have to laugh at PC gamers who get on here and try to boast about their version of a game being superior to it's console counterpart, as if it's a true apples to apples to comparison. They are by far the most insecure bunch of any group who comes in here and posts.

If you truly believe that, then you're not giving Sony nor the PlayStation brand it's due credit. Xbox is only relevant in 2 regions, the US and the UK. Everywhere else in the world, PlayStation is king. Last generation there were a LOT of factors that went into the 360 succeeding as well as it did. The Last of US: Left Behind is an amazing side story and absolutely deserves it's own release. In some ways, I actually think it's better than the main game, which is saying a LOT.
Skipping. I'll continue to play Driveclub and wait for Forza 6 and Gran Turismo 7.
That's not why the PS4 is dominating. Sure, it influenced some to jump ship but not to THIS degree. Not THESE kinds of numbers.
The reason why the Playstation is doing so well this generation is because...well...it kind of always has. Last generation was an anomaly because you had SO many factors working against PS3...
1.) PS3 launched a full year after the 360.
2.) PS3 launched with 500.00 and 600.00 skus
3.) PS3 was a beast to program...
I expected it to roughtly do PS3 numbers. I was NOT prepared for it to outpace the PS2. That was most certainly a surprise. Not so much because of what MS was doing with X1 but just from the sheer competition from mobile and PC gaming.
The PS4 has earned the "cool system" title this generation. Really that is the race you have to win in order to win the generation. Those playground and lunch table conversations carry a LOT of influence among school age gamers ...

I'm loving all the new cars but I HOPE they are planning a season 2 so we can get some more tracks/locations. I've played the ones currently in the game to death. I'd love to get some new ones.

It's quite astonishing to see how this company has slowly went downhill ever since the 16 bit generation. Back then, Konami were gods to me. They were by far my favorite developer back then. Now they are merely a shell of their former selves and they only have themselves to blame.

I've often described Destiny as a rather small game that's cleverly disguised to seem like a rather large game. In reality there really isn't much content to it. Back when the game was being hyped, I was under the impression that we were basically getting a Sci Fi Skyrim in space with a great story, interesting NPC's to meet, and instead of one world to traverse and explore we would get multiple planets. Likewise, I have both as well and I play Driveclub way more. I'm just not all that hung up on customization and I find the races in Driveclub much more intense and satisfying. FH2 is a much more casual racer and that's fine. Sometimes I like to just cruise around and check out the scenery. Both games are good but Driveclub is much more fun and challenging IMO.

Back when I bought PS4 there were 3 games that I was super hyped about; The Order 1886, Destiny, and The Witcher 3. So far 2 of those 3 games have fallen WAY short of my expectations! I sure as hell hope The Witcher 3 comes through.
What I'd like to see developers do is give console games options to tweak the graphics/performance ratios, much like the way PC games do. Obviously it would be more limited on console games but for example, I'd LOVE the choice to lower resolution, draw distance, shadow detail, etc to increase framerate or vice versa if I want to.
No one disputes that it's better. It damn well SHOULD be better. The debate is, is it better enough to justify the extra dollars spent for the experience? For me that answer is definitely not. That's why I'm a console gamer. You have to consider what PS4 and X1 do for the money they cost. Looking at it from that perspective, they are a HELL of a bargain!
