I have been enjoying the full capabilities of the X1X: PSE, and I can't wait to see what Microsoft does next!
That's my points, apps like those, (AI grunts, Drivatars, ect.) gaming apps, builds onto that system (Azure) enabling more advanced gaming applications with each game's release. Until you get to a point where more of the games simulations are ran thru "The Cloud." Microsoft's system seems to "scale," meaning the more users, (XBOX ONEs) the more capable the "cloud."
MS would be a lot farther alone with it's cloud gaming infrastr...
Just like with any other form of technology, Microsoft's Azure cloud service needs time to mature and develop. As more time and development is spent on it towards game development, more technical benefits for gaming will be generated as a result from it. And while these advancements take place, fan boys will complain and try to ridicule because they don't have anything comparable on their system of choice.
