it looks good, but the controls and battle system is what we need to know more about, the last game of this kind was 2d on ps2/gamecube and the gameplay was a bit wierd but fun and it had 4player on the same console which i doubt is possible when they have made it 3d.
has retail
import fees make the price a bit too much, not to mention i dont want it to seem like eu does not support the game, otherwise we could see the game only coming to NA in the future, and we would end up having to import every single game.
the translation is quite bad, i thinka previous post translated it better, google translate is useless for such stuff.
nope
sad that eu's release is not for a while
well i guess i can agree with that, but i will still get the game anyway, hopefully we will get a vita port, but that probably wont happen any time soon.
the wait for the japanese release date announcement has already been long, and now the wait for the release + localization for us/eu could also be long,
dunno how u could wait for an unconfirmed port of the game, unless the series doesn't mean much to you. i would get the console one and then later the vita one if they do get one released. such game are very replayable anyways.
right... normal, i guess by nds standards it might be "normal".
let's see....
visual novel like graphics for the story and even battle (semi static 2d pictures in a 3d game) is what you define as normal appearntly, please have another look at smt 3 for ps2, where even tho it's obviously an older system, atleast it had 3d models for battle/cutscenes, rather than just movement within dungeons. it's obviously a style they do for limited systems or ...
i think i'v heard somewhere that sony could raise the limit to 8gb in the future as it becomes needed, and also the fact that they can have ffx and/or borderlands 2 on the vita with supposed current limitations is probably a sign that size currently isnt the problem, this is not like the psp where size hurt, by making games skip cinematics or worse, like with persona 3 portable. do remember that vita has lower res and as such a big game for ps3 wouldnt be as big for the vita
so i...
probably because
1. they started working on it b4 ps4
2. more ppl still have ps3 than 4 and will stay so for a while as not everyone buys new consoles at launch.
either way im happy that the game looks a bit darker than p4 and possbly even more than p3, cuz i'v always felt smt games are suited for that.
why am i not surprised that the 3ds game doesn't get normal graphics... o well atleast we get several games across several consoles, i would have hoped for p5 and maybe pq to be on vita, but i guess ps3 is fine, and i wonder how the gameplay for the 3ds will be, it looks like it might be normal turnbased play, just with that mini graphic style from the teaser.
he probably means, dont pull a square enix and turn the game into an action game, or like with catherine, a puzzle game (catherine wasnt bad, but i do prefer persona style)
probably not, only ps3 and vita, but if ur in the us, then i guess sooner or later u can stream ps3games to ps4 via their service
atleast it's finally coming, hopefully they'll do something like they did for other regions with some free games.
was only planning to possibly get the vita version, if that's delayed then buying it is delayed.
you should be able to get most of persona series on vita (p2 had 2 games, but i think we only got one on psn atleast in europe), p3 and 4 have a different story, so you can play either. only difference it would make to play p3 b4 p4 is that you see a location and few non-main characters from p3 in p4, without it relating to the story in any way.
they should make 5 instead of 4-2. although 4 is good, it did not have the same dark feel that 3 had, so i'd prefer if they made a new persona where they can try something new and hopefully get the same feel as p3 or better. ofc if they are working on 4-2 and 5 at the same time, then i wouldnt mind.
sadly they replaced the cutscenes from the ps2 game and also removed the 3d model for town movement, which in my opinion hurt the game even if it does add new things and improve some stuff. the fact that it was on psp rather than vita hurt it due to size limit, still a good game non the less
there is something that came to mind. when wii u was announced, we got to know that 2 of it's "unique" controllers werent a possiblity because the wii u couldnt handle it, so the question is, can the ps4 handle 2 vitas used for remote play? they would ofc be used as 2 different controllers/screen for the same local mp game, but has anyone tried that?
