just like with anything some people will experience while others might not, i bought a a ps5 controller just to play turnbased rpgs on my pc, as in games that do not require heavy use at all, still suffered stickdrift after 7 months. bought a new one and it has not had any for over a year now . (as to why didnt just send the previous one to warranty, i had lost my proof of purchase sadly)
they essentially stopped "experimenting" and more or less killed turnbased from their main titles. do they still make some turn-based games? sure, but apart from DQ which is by no means a bad game, but which i consider to be less story-intensive than oldschool final fantasy, they pretty much dont make turnbased rpgs that feel like they are from this era.
they had a minor new studio do experimental games like i am setsuna which looked like a game from a differen...
while opening such a small device can be difficult for people, i dont think this is merely a problem of being tech savvy. since steam tells you it's not meant to be user replaceable. They could have a sticker, or other means of checking if you have opened up your device to void your warranty, so it becomes an issue of do you want your warranty or do you wanna risk it for larger storage.
final fantasy games generally had a bigger budget, best jrpg graphics for their generation, great well written stories that could be enjoyed by a larger group of people, because it was not aimed at a niche, like many anime-like rpgs are. You're not gonna interest alot of people with games like atelier series, or games that lack any type of motion because devs cant afford it + a story that was written in 5 min, just so they have something to go by. and the battlesystem of FF was well thou...
disappointing, was hoping it would be ready for summer, but nope
it would be extremely stupid of them not to release it in europe/us. so obviously they will
it was his job to fight for the vita, now that he's not obligated to, ofcourse he won't
sadly since its for vita and as such super low budget, you get this visual novel look (mostly still pictures) instead of any sort of animation.
why do games always have to skip summerbreak....
the story.. something about everyone's idol trying to grant wishes, with some negative effect that prompts (main cast?) saying they might be forced to kill her even if she's only trying to grant their wishes. i think the negative effect is her trapping their souls in her world or something in exchange for granting their wishes(?)
i think they tried to give xbox 360 a good selection of japanese games back when it launched in japan, not sure that helped them much though, even a game like ToV went to xbox 360, and now the series is back to playstation
graphics look a bit pixelated, still better than we've had so far, if it gets localized and does not get extreme bad reviews, i'd get it
The game is kind of slow paced like the older ones in the series and
it's structured so you have to deal with what i'd call repetitive side-quests every chapter before you get to the end of the chapter where the story progresses.
The story itself is quite good so i think it's worth playing and getting through the quest system to progress with the game.
i wish that they would for future games improve on their quest system , so you get something ...
the main characters in full form look so generic, couldnt they have made better designs? other than that could be good

you seem to misunderstand me saying "killing genre" for open world, that was a comment to changing the game from turnbased to 100% action, as being open world is not a genre. Also you think that square enix only has to compete with japanese devs ? they will have to compete with all action rpg open world games now, because they have to target the same crowd.
also there is a difference between how final fantasy titles used to handle open w...
because killing a genre to copy another is o so very successful and your a fool to think otherwise... o wait, a lot of these "successful" "experienced devs are leaving one genre/playstyle in order to copy the "popular" style that others seem to have success with but alot of those franchises are also dead thanks to that.
if final fantasy gets its success in action open world, then good for them, they will have to compete with veterans in that genre. In doing th...
tales games arent usually like dating sim, if there is any romance its usually pre-defined and has a weak presence
they are only 20% done with the game
will this be a full remake into action game like crisis core ?
so the best example you could come up with is essentially an old game that was remade while retaining the gameplay?
