This sounds a little hard to swallow.
As a long time Halo fan, I would like to see this come to fruition. Though from what I have seen from 343i I would not say that they have the market cornered on graphics.
As for the part that this is a rumor. I'm sure we all remember that at this time in 2010 we had the Halo Reach beta.
If that is any indication of how 343i works their production schedule compared to Bungie's, then we should at least see some info released about the core game. Given that 343i has confirmed a 2012 release date.
I agree with most of what you say.
I myself like to play co-op with friends, and yet still love the single player option.
I'm sure Bethesda agrees with your comment too.
Though I don't predict them to just sit on the ability to make an MMO, but I would bet that if they are going forward with it they would not be doing it in house. In my memory having never produced an online component themselves.Which is common practice nowadays.
Thanks. I was actually thinking about finally picking up the Onza this week.
I have read a few reviews, but none ever mentioned the triggers.
This article has changed my mind, and saved me about $50.
No prob.
I'm hopeful that this will be the Fallout MMO, since Bethesda has just recently won back their rights to produce it.
Even better an Elder Scrolls MMO, or both!
Not to be that guy, but you got your Roman numerals backwards.
Should be VI. IV was Oblivion.
Though cross platform games would be a boon in some aspects. The fact that our current console generation will obviously be dwarfed by the next Xbox will lead to stunted graphics for online play. Perhaps there will be some up-converting, but none the less people that bought the "Durango" would be put out by having to take a cut to the graphics.
Though it is a safe bet that the next console from Xbox won't be in production for at a minimum of 18 months. Probably ...
You see nothing.
My comment went through twice.
Was "Durango" ever confirmed to be the next Xbox console's codename, or was it just for the hardware?
Either way, this is good to hear. Seems as if the development cycle is well on it's way.
Though this could just be some sort of coincidence. A ridiculous coincidence, but a coincidence none the less.
Good find none the less.
I don't see 150 images.
If this were to happen, there would need to be few things that would need to happen.
There would have to be an incentive to own digital over physical. Perhaps extra content. A limited grace period where they would give you a percentage back on the game in case you just hatted it, or had any other issues with it.
Some way to up the graphics/sound/speed of play. This would be an issue to be resolved by disk space versus storage space, something that could addr...
My bet is Medal of Honor.
Get a better pop up blocker. I have no issue with my basic Firefox.
I love puns!
The "B" button is on the wrong side.
Obviously it is a slow-ass news day for this guy.
It was a good fake though.
I do agree with the idea that "new" meaning just updated graphics is kind of a step backward for the next gen platform. I would say new hardware and peripherals, as well a new way to play would be in order for the compared to the universe of technology that is available to us for entertainment and beyond.
Though on the flip side of this is the manufacturing cost. The implement a GPU that would only update the graphics would cost a lot less to have included. With the...
This movie looks fucking amazing!
Looks great. I waiting for a campaign video.
