Maybe they got an offer they couldn't refuse...
Here's my problem...
In my first try at the demo I found that the problem (for me) isn't the run & gun, it's the fact that you can't even walk when aiming.
Survival horror yes I get it, but that doesn't mean you have to freeze your legs when you shoot.
Enemies dumbness makes the gameplay lame at times too
Aiming at "Fastest" is still slow IMO and it feels uncomfortable when many enemies are around...
Many...
MS should spend money to keep it exclusive instead of wasting it on crappy DLC...
The game should stay exclusive to make the 360 more appealing, but I doubt it'll stay that way. EA will release it on the PS3 sooner or later UNLESS Microsoft pays a good chunk of green.
What's the problem with it?? none
I don't have a problem with them milking the franchise, I'm just saying that they are.
They are just milking the crap out of Halo. Now quit being a drama queen and move on.
If it offends you that HALO is probably the most hyped and milked franchise in gaming history then look for another hobby mate.
@ Foxgod
Mention one game outside of Halo that has the marketing (milking) strategy that HALO has to be considered by MS their Star Wars??
Find me some Killzone 2 sneakers or a limited edition beverage (MD) with GOW in the cover...
We're talkin about real milking here mate, not games or sequels.
Halo Studio lead producer Jason Pace has told VideoGamer.com that Microsoft sees the Halo franchise as its Star Wars, and hopes it will become just as prevalent in pop culture as the George Lucas conceived phenomenon.
Translation: We're going to keep milking the F*CK out of Halo.
Alright... Now slap yourself please.
@ master...
You can't compare FPS mechanics and controls with RTS's.... RTS's need much more buttons and its gameplay mechanics are much more complex to work well on consoles... It just doesn't work.
@Gam71
lol.. Of course I wouldn't buy the PC version dummy, I would download it.
I'm not talking about fanbase, sales or Halo specifically...
My opinion is solely on RTS's being crap on consoles... No matter how many people buy the game because it says "HALO" on the cover, the mechanics will still be crap on consoles, period.
Crap is crap no matter how many people owns it.
PC version would be awesome though.
It would be nice, but it's not fail at all....
If it was fail, then almost every product in the world that doesn't advertise in the Super Bowl would be instant fail.
I tried it and it almost made me puke.... Seriously.
It's not even the controls, it's the overall experience. I can't really enjoy an RTS fully while playing it on a console without K&M.
It's like playing Tennis with a Ping Pong paddle.... Yes you can maybe find the way to cross the ball to the other side, but it's not fun at all. IMO of course ;)
Release it on PC and then we'll talk...
/rant
For PC? Of course...
For consoles? ewwww
Let's see if 2009 can change my mind towards the Wii....
Thank God....
Now 360 owners can enjoy games comfortably without having to hold a 20 pound lunchbox.
;)
Valve developed and published L4D... EA distributed, so they don't have much saying on where the game ends.
On the other hand.... Bioware was bought by EA, so EA has all the saying in Mass Effect's fate.
Just saying... ;)
Interesting fact...
Both Haze and Lair got better famitsu scores than Ninja Blade...
360 sure has a bright future this year..
;)
I think the Colb ^^^^^ pretty much killed this whole reply chain.
;)
EDIT: Apparently the " " below me won't use common sense after all... Sorry Colb.
Main character and enemies will have a max of 7 polygons each instead of 3.
