This budget is actually not that big.
Put it this way, your not going to see many tv ads or billboards around. Prob couple cinema ads and on websites.
It can cost up to £1 million to show a single 30 second ad depending on what channel and show (if between footy matches etc), so £2million isnt going to go that far.

OK, now i know this is a great score etc.
But they gave K2 - which many reviewers and devs themselves have stated is the best looking console game to this day, yet scores lower than Gears2 ?

still, they would have spent more than £4 million in UK, i remember seeing Halo on almost every bus going to Uni and atleast once every ad break on the major channels (channel 4, ITV, Sky1 etc).
I hope Sony have realised how important advertising is and wont sit back and let the games sell themselves, as they have done for most releases.
This is stupid, why cant Sony just advertise on TV/Cinema/Radio with Normal great ads showing gameplay, story and the epic'ness that alot of the ps3 games have.
Instead of these unsual ads that most people dont understand or make the games look crap and boring, or dont even show the game!!
I havent seen a ps3 ad on tv since last year, not even one around christmas at all (except in cinema).
If i ever see and ad for a game, it 90% of the time has the 360 ...

Third-party Devs dont support their games with dedicated servers, neither do MS, but SONY DO.
Thats the point
R1,R2,Killzone2,warhawk,LBP all have dedicated servers and if Heavy Rain,Infamous or Uncharted2 have online, they will too.
I think that the overall pic could have been photoshopped, i mean, maybe if u gave us the high-res version, as there should be if you did make it entirely with screens, so we could zoom in a bit more?

maybe im just not a 'hardcore user' or whatever, but i have vista and i hardly have any problems with it at all.
It was just weird getting used to some things different to XP and having to get stuff compatable with Vista, which most stuff is now.

i think 100 friends is enough, there is no way that you will add 100 friends that you know either on-line or in real life that you would play with.
More like add loads of people who you never speak to or play with who just sit there on your friends list !
I can say i have about 30-40 PSN friends and about 20 of them jst sit there on my list.
and if you do regularly speak and play with all 100 friends, then i feel sorry for your 360/ps3 lol.
