ye it looks like its going to be great, my only problems with the current version is no MMS and battery, looks like they have fixed that.
Do OLEDs require less power to run than LCD ? Also, i think they will be using it for how thin it is, dont think it will be transparent lol.
everyone knows MS is going to have a suprise, thats why they are hating.
MS just buy/steal another big exclusive and that seems to be the highlight of their conference and will make up for the huge lack of exclusives this year.
If MS came up with a brand new ip that looked really amazing and got everyone excited, that would be great, but they dont..
you can bet that the 5th Metal Gear will almost certainly be on 360 aswell, or they will be doing SOMETHING for 360, MS just would never let that go and would pay ALOT of money for that.
Im suprised they never put MGS4 on 360 really, i thought it would be exclusive for about a year then get ported, but guess not.
The last FW update added more Divx support because my ps3 now plays the video files that it couldn't before the FW update, there is now almost no files in my media library that the ps3 cannot play.
I keep thinking how many features you get with the ps3 for the price, notice how almost noone says the ps3 is "over-priced" anymore, because it never was, it was actually a great price for the features it has and people are now realising what the ps3 can do for that money and...

Also, people forget after the press conference, it will be the booths that stick in people's mind, after the big announcements (MS will prob announce another 3rd party exclusive/stolen that will shock everyone), Sony will definitely win the booths, they just have SO many games to play there, that is where it will be shown they are the true winner. One stolen game will be realised not to make a difference among all of those games.

No i think they planned to do this from a while back, i remember them saying inFAMOUS was getting movie style advertising treatment, i guess they meant that ads were going to be showin in the cinema (lol i thought they meant it would have the same budget for advertising)

I dont have a connection issue, i dont have any issues with the loading of posters or other people's profiles etc, but its when your turning the camera around in the plaza and i always notice a framrate drop, i notice this when i go outside of my appartment and various other places aswell, its not my ps3 haha.

Edit: Just checked, there is no online multiplayer, there is only like 8 levels aswell! Not a very good quality game, shame because the presentation and controlls are great and does seem to be fun.
im not impressed with home AT ALL. It has delivered almost none of its promises and it has been like 3 years.
-It seems very laggy and slow (not lag as in connection as in very low framerates/menu speed).
-The graphics are not anything special, its almost impossible to notice differences of different faces even with the customisation options - there is almost no difference when you sit/stand next to the person, except perhaps slightly taller/smaller.

I think they should have put the effort in, because i think it would be alot more popular and more people would have bought it - im guessing the sales were awful and thats why sony decided to give it to sprint to give away free.

The best game i have ever played on my ps3, meaning i just couldnt put it down as i was so hooked (no loading screens helped with the not-stopping lol) is Uncharted. It had a really interesting story, amazing visuals and amazing audio, just an amazing game.
Second, i know i am going to get disagrees, but i really loved Heavenly Sword, it reminded me alot of Uncharted in the great story and visuals/...
I forgot about this game with the new uncharted 2 footage blowing my mind!
This games looks like its going to be amazing too, and seems to really be focussed around a great story which is one of the most important features of a game to me.
O and we have God of war lol, wow it really is an endless stream of AAA games.

On-topic then, this is good news, the one area sony REALLY needs to improve on is their Advertising, which is dismal to say the least, they often have great ads, but never actually ADVERTISE them lol.

maybe it just has all of the media functions of the ps3, in like a new interface like a 'Play TV' with media streaming capabilities etc, sort of like an Apple Tv ?
Sounds logical, prob have blu-ray drive, meaing sony could market this as the ultimate cheaper blu-ray player with alot of added media functionality.
i think the ps3 is perfect the way it is, it looks sexy and expensive, not some cheap piece of plastic.
If they launch a ps3-slim i wont buy, i have the 60gb so have BC and mem-card slots, my ps3 is really silent and really, theres not much to upgrade for, unless like the new ps3 had something that only that model could have.
Just a thought, maybe this ps3 slim will go with the new motion control thing ? like they go together or something and its like a whole new con...

I keep forgetting that we have this amazing SP Campaign AND multi-player & co-op lol.

Really, i thought the list of ps3 games was too long as it is haha, now im really going to have to wait to play some of these games because i just cant afford them all haha.
Im thinking it will hit early next year.
