lol I'm talking all of the Multi-plat ports devs do, like what we could have got from Crysis 2 being ported to consoles.
Experienced Devs building an actual game ground-up for consoles is a different story.
It's like saying the same thing with PC's, an older spec comp has no chance in running the "Flag-ship" graphical game like Crysis 2 does it. So you would need to upgrade in order to play it.
But PC is still a gaming platform, just that you need to upgrade every few years in order to play the latest games..

lol, have you SEEN the effect flash pages have on running on mobile/andoid devices? slows down to the point of almost locking-up. Not to mention HUGE battery drain and resource hog.

Glad there are a number of engines out there taking full advantage of hardware, instead of devs being lazy and just using the Unreal Engine, you can always tell which games use the unreal engine and most of those games are crap! There I said it lol.

lol we know nothing about that game, doubt it will be anything to MGS4.
We already have RE5 for survival horror with Move, I'd like something in terms of maybe Half Life or something, would be more impactfull. I think Move would work well will interacting with objects in the game etc.
ok, what exactly is android doing right now that is so impressive and "new" that the iOS devices are totally unable to do ?
Also, by looking at the recent epic citadel, the iphone/ipod touch are capable of more than PSP or DSi, the only problem is it is lacking quality games, which can be fixed since it isn't that hardware itself that is lacking.
As for earlier itouch devices running older hardware, that's just how it goes, look at the 3DS, ...
I'd say it was ok, when you see it you just run for shelter, helps keep you on the lookout instead of on autopilot lol.
Also there is things to protect against it, there is a number of perks to not show up on sensors etc.
Its true it is just a tech demo, but you don't see that number of glitches in the Move tech demo! Barely any tbh.
From what we have seen the games themselves glitch just as much as that, they do have couple months to iron stuff out though..

I hope people see Kinect for what it is and realise MS has edited all of the adverts and "Live" Demos to make it look like it actually works.

Actually, not that much from when i played it! Went down about 7-8% after walking around it for about 15 min lol.
Also, it probably is scaled down for the 3GS or something, i saw quite a few jaggies, but still in terms of lighting and water effects was probably past PS2 on some levels.

I think you cant ignore the fact that the iTouch devices really can be considered protable gaming consoles.
The main set-back is lack of quality games, but guessing with games like this shown, that will change in the near future.
The Specs might not be all that impressive, but the TECH used is, just an example - the Macbook Air, that is a technical marvel yet low in specs etc.
Even though they have a high price, you can't just look at how much memory or HD Space their systems have, you have to look at the quality of that system and the advantages (for 1 the battery lasts more than 1-2hours of use!!!).

They offer "Amazing" Services that they think you should pay for JUST because it is on the 360, even though it is FREE everywhere else.
Paying to play online with friends or to use Twitter is ridiculous.
At the very least they should be adding these services to add to the Gold membership and help justify the price, not increase it!

Well you only have to look at how many mobile devices now have touch screen capabilities - which is a HUGE % of them, some with buttons for keyboard etc, alot without.
The more time goes by, the larger number of touch devices there are, look at the growth in tablet computing etc, imagine the growth and advancements in 5 years time.
