I think people were mad with the 8 out of 10 score because they give the second game 10/10 and the third game improved on most features still keeping the high quality that the second game had....but how can you give a game which has done that a lower score when it's still a high quality game with many improvments. When I read the review the reviewer was trying to put it like it was the same old stuff we've seen before yet they give MW3 the same score and it's worse then Uncharted....

It's a clone of Minecraft
Infiniminer was inspiration to Minecraft when Notch made his own game out of it....now it's own genre.
Terraria did what Notch did to Infiniminer and Relogic then ended up with Terraria
To say FortressCraft is not a clone is ridiculous, theres tons of evidence it's basicaly the same with new bits and bobs added in....hell it's even got CRAFT at the end. I could go on

Anyway I know your basicaly comparing a 2D game to a 3D game but the updates to Terraria are amazing, you always get so much more out of them then the updates to Minecraft. The 1.8 update is good but I still feel like Minecraft is empty while Terarria adds a ton of stuff to find, craft or me...

The thing what bugs me about the new look is that it's seems it was made for kinect and not gamers. I say Kinect because if familys are playing together theres more of them looking at these forced adverts on screen.
Then the trying to find the indie games as someone has already mentioned. It's like they don't even care anymore and the sad part is indie games used to be a big part of your Xbox 360 experience.

There was the stuff during the Portal 2 arg that wasn't explained and wasn't part of Portal.
Theres been plenty of small hints to show Valve is working on it that people usualy forget about. It's there way of telling us it's in development without them actually saying anything.
It was alright but it wasn't considered the best, people only liked the freeroam which no other developer has picked up on....but that was the past and this is now.....Activision has gotten worse since then so you know, plus it;s another mie tie in game

Anyway Nintendo kind of brung on themselfs, they got too cocky after how well the Wii did, then they tried to get more money of the already established casual audience with the high 3DS price point...least when Sony had a high price point for the PS3 it was because they invested a lot of money in the tec behind it.
