If you're referring to the classics that's how the color of their eyes were before Sonic Adventure. Where Sonic got green eyes and Tails got blue eyes.
Well if you read the article it said since 2006 so probably nearly 5 years in development. With Nomura spending majority of his time on the first 2 year developments on FF13 and then the other 2 years to make it multiplatform.

@kingdavid your forgetting there's a huge Atlus fanbase in the U.S.
Its a pretty old way of entertainment though I know its still big in Japan with fighting games such as Guilty Gear and Blazblue (though these are more or less radio podcasts online others are CD's).
I'm pretty sure its not that big of a thing any more in the US. However there still some people who do it and actually air it on the radio along with the internet. Here's one that I always liked.

I definitely agree and with the way consoles are now in days I can see a huge Dracula castle with 100's of hrs worth of content.

Sounds like Castlevania or Super Mario 64. The bottom line is Ocarina of Time is and is still an amazing feat of a game.
It would be hard, since Akira Yamaoka (guy who does the soundtrack for all the Silent Hill games) just left Konami and most recently helped Shinj Mikami and Suda51 with Shadows of the damned and is now with Grasshopper Manufacture.
Mary Elizabeth (One of Akira's partners) said she is going to supervise the redone voicework for the HD rereleases of SH2 and 3 however she isn't do any work on Downpour.

Its even harder to tell if a game is new or not just from the fact they sell new copies with the disc not "in" the case.
I recently got Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 new from there the guy took the case I gave him put a disc in the case from drawer. Then he did something that puzzled me, he put the case in this sheet of plastic that's in the shape of an envelope and sealed it.
Soooo are they doings things backwards???

He doesn't do multiplat. in fact Itagaki has stated on several occasions of how he hates the PS3.
Kojima isn't a fan of exclusive games, I mean look at the FOX engine he's making its going to be multiplatform. Which is actually good for him instead of him making engines from the ground up for one specific console, he can reuse the engine thus making his releases a lot sooner.
It's not the hair color that gets me, it's still the fact he very highly resembles Tameem Antoniades. From what I've read during his interviews he seems to be very arrogant in what he wants and not what the customers (us) want.
The game itself is suppose to reflect upon the economic state the world is in, I don't need another god damn reminder I play video games to temporarily escape that.

People still seem to not understand that Kojima is in a producing role for this game, he doesn't have any creative control of what goes on with the game. He's more or less a bystander to make sure they don't do anything to ridiculous with the game. Essentially its same role he had with Castlevania: Lords Of Shadows.

The one thing I did like that would've been awesome in DMC 3 was the Dante portion of DMC 4 where you can swap styles through the D-pad instead of having to switch the style at the beginning of the level.
