Earliest memories serve me playing Sonic the Hedgehog 2 on Genesis and Dig Dug on DOS.
I can't really voice an opinion on this one, truth be told I was a little werided out that they would redo the voice acting for SH 2 and SH 3. I would first have to see the rest of the casts voice acting and see how they approach the high points of their characters for each respective game. Cause just like it was before it was pretty much hit or miss with the original VA their would be times where you said they nailed it or times where you face palm.

It's every time I hear a word out of his mouth I get really pissed off.
I'm serious I saw the trailer at Gamescon I noted they've improved it over the initial trailer though they still have a lot of gaps to fill in. I knew the only reason I wasn't mad about it was Tameem kept his mouth shut, and now that he's opened it I remembered why I hate this guy.

Not only was he arrested for violent behavior he had a sword that was confiscated on him on one of those occasions so not only is their a charge for juvenile assault but also a charge for him possessing a bladed weapon under the age of 18. I mean first arrest was in June and the second was on July 29 isn't that a pretty short window?
I suppose the logical thing to think about this story is, there's something more to this story that's not being told.

I personally loved how Atlus got involved with the Devil Trigger designs in DMC 3, looks like we'll never see that again....
I'll say how I feel, it has the potential to be good as its own IP, I also stand by this opinion for Castlevania: Lords of Shadows. They just don't have the feeling for what the previous titles captured.
This is more or less just Capcom (This also includes Operation Raccoon City), trying to cash in on a name.

Hideo Kojima has also expressed his aggravation recently with working with developers in Japan that aren't very passionate about the game.
I will say I will always love video games from the east I mean their the whole reason first off this industry was created. Plus you usually see a lot more original ideas (Catherine anyone)? Then in the west.
Agreed on above comments more muscle on him, his haircut no longer has that single giant bane going across his left eye, patch of white hair is gone, Rebellion looks somewhat like an actual sword. Its seems the face has also taken a different design as well. I mean I really wished they had a gameplay model up where you can zoom in and out. But yeah its nothing substantial at all.
The fast gameplay? The unique main weapons that can be switched on the fly for insane combos? The difficult boss battles? I'm sorry Ninja Theory but you really throw a big bone to your players.
To that effect I'll say the original DMC was the only one with any involvement from Kamiya-sama. I'm really not sure how they pulled DMC 3 off but somehow they did.
And Capcom has expressed why they are not letting Platinum games do this is because Capcoms policy is they have to have developers approach them to develop for a game even if it is already an established IP. Which is a shame since Kamiya has expressed that he would be interested in making another Viewtiful...
