This trilogy for me is hands down my favourite games ever. They defined what video games mean to me. The amount of hours me and my friend would spend speculating on our predictions for me2 and then me3 it was just such a deep rich universe that doesn't come round very often.
Like Lukas said I do wish EA had never bought them. But I think if any of you are following the development of dragon age it seems they are giving them the time they actually need to create something...

Condemned for me, the whole game got pretty scary but having to follow that trail with that dim UV light to the basement was horrible lol

Yeah sales shouldn't determine if its good or not. I have a feeling the is the spiritual successor to condemned which imo is one of the best horror games made. And I agree dead space was a good story with good action but scary? Not once,same for RES.
Just because it uses the same world as colonial marines I don't think you could actually get a game that is more opposite
Videos games helped me tremendously too, I had a motorcycle head on collision with an SUV at 60 I couldn't move anything other than my hands for a year and having games was one of the few things I could escape with, I think they are far too underated by the general population.
I think this will be the trend for casual gamers. I know a lot of people who bought the x1 solely because they had the 360.
And why not if your friends game on it too?
For me I did get both but I saw it as a chance to have my main console the ps4 (if true free backward compatibility was their it would have been a different story)

Me too, I loved the first two. In their time they added a lot of unique gameplay and the story focused aspect was why I always enjoyed them. But this isn't made by gearbox? If it it didn't have the "3" in the title I wouldnt think its a big deal, it seems like a spin off? but is it really going to be the same guys from 101st and shouldn't they be in the battle of the buldge next and not in France??
Why are people so against this! If your a gamer and you get this option shouldn't you be happy. I know for me this is amazing if it is real. People saying a 2 year old game of the year isn't worth re doing for the life span of the next consoles and beyond, I'd of bought it on PS now this just means it will look even better and be a proper game for next gen.
I'm with you I think it looks fantastic. Reminds me of a lot of the PC games like outlast and slender man. I think kids today just have become use to fps "if I can't shoot something what the hell do you do in the game" attitude. But I think anyone who likes alien and and loves horror games should appreciate what their trying to do
Good guide :-) I think for a young child I'd buy ps3 for them too,just seems they would get the most out of that system right now, still getting most next gen dub down versions but with free online and a massive library of games I'm sure someone young would be busy with for years.

I can't stand the practice of micro transactions and season passes. The only time I've ever bought a season pass without regretting it is walking dead but that makes sense. I know their very different but bioware can make fantastic rpg's too. We saw the infamous speech system in witcher. I'm sure it will be brilliant though. Ever since e3 is been my most anticipated announced title.

You can't judge it from YouTube watching isn't playing.
It's nothing like god of war. I love God of war and I bought my ps3 for it. But at no time playing ryse did I think it was like gow. The story I really enjoyed. I live next to York and I thought it was feat to see the mo cap in the cut scenes it reminded me of how the last of us approached its cut scenes. I think if you gave it a chance instead of hating it before ever playing it you might be surprise...
Sounds like none of you have actually played ryse? It's the best graphical game for launch hands down. I've got kill zone on pause as I type this btw and I've not been impressed by it. I just shot civilian by mistake and not a single person reacted. They just carried in without even a flinch. I've seen rain falling through ceilings and people's mouths not even move someone's when they speak. My favorite game on ps4 so far is trine 2 no joke.

Well it went down to £39 on amazon so I'm buying it, I loved it on ps3 and now that I don't have the console any more it means I can own it for the duration of the next console and beyond hopefully.
