Original Xbox could output games up to 720p, and the wii is more powerful than the original xbox, they were just being stupid and greedy. (Have you seen some wii games in 1080p or 720p? orgasmic)
Also not allowing the Wii to run DVD movies was a very idiotic decision.

Depends, I would be EXTREMELY satisfied paying $60 for a good game that would last 50 hours+, would be satisfied paying $60 for a good game that lasts 15+ hours. I would not be satisfied paying $60 for a good game that lasts 4-9 hours, unless it had replay value thanks to its multiplayer. All the examples mentioned are great but why pay $60 for a 4-9 thrill ride and having no replay value?
